Location

    Decent hotel but loud

    This hotel had a convenient location with restaurants around and was walkable to the ocean and other tourist landmarks. The breakfast was ok but a bit expensive to add on. Our room was on the first floor and there was constant traffic noise as the hotel is surrounded by roads on all sides. The beds were a bit flimsy compared to other Marriott hotels. Some staff were very nice and helpful, others were a bit dismissive when we asked questions about navigating the area.

    Nice hotel let down by noise and strange policies

    Hotel is lovely and clean, decor is nice, rooms spacious and breakfast great. That said, the noise from the road outside outweighs all positives. Soundproofing is good between rooms but poor at keeping the outside noise at bay. The most disappointing thing of all - I left something of value in my room, I contacted reception who confirmed they had the item but are refusing to support a courier collection. The only option they will allow is personal collection - silly given many travellers will not live nearby (sort of goes hand in hand with the requirement for a hotel). If you do plan to stay, ask for a room away from the road and remember to check check and check again before leaving the room.

    Young ladies on reception excellent.

    Excellent staff on the reception desk who helped greatly after a cancelled flight. The two young ladies on reception were also very good with helping me book an additional night and keeping me in the same room making everything easy. The room was clean and quiet even with the road behind us. Very professional hotel in a decent location.

    Great Location, Amazing Hotel for Those Wanting to Explore

    As always with other AC Hotels, this one offers better-than-basic amenities. Bed is comfortable. Shower has great pressure. Breakfast benefits don't apply to Marriott Bonvoy elite members, which is fine.Best thing about this hotel is that it's with 10-minute walk to Santa Catalina, which is full of amazing artisan cocktail bars and restaurants. Moreover, it's also closely located to the seafront walk, where you can walk in a leisurely pace to the famous cathedral within 10 minutes.Public transportation connection is also very convenient, especially with Line 4 passing by just right in front of the hotel.

    Hotel Location Good. Rooms outdated and very basic with just bare minimum amenities .................... / Noisy ... from outside vehicles, etc. No Recognition or mention of Titanium Marriott Status. No welcome gift for Bonvoy member.
