Location

This beach hotel is located on a quiet street off the lively promenade of Port de Sóller. A selection of shopping streets, bars, cafés and restaurants fill the surrounding area, inviting guests to take a break. Port de Sóller is the only natural habour on the northwest coast of Mallorca and is overlooked by the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains, which reach heights of over 1,500 metres and sweep down dramatically into the Mediterranean.

Facility

43 non-smoking rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (no extra charge). Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a mini fridge included among the standard features. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system and WiFi are provided as well. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the hotel offers tennis. Water sports available at the hotel include canoeing, snorkelling, diving, water aerobics and aquafit. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym and yoga. Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Half board is offered as a catering option. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available.     Check in was very complicated that wasted 40 minutes of our time, the guy checking us in was on his phone and made us feel we were bothering him. He asked for my booking reference and then asked me to take a screenshot of it and email it to him, made no sense, this didnt work so be took a pic of it with his phone. My question is why did they not already have these details. There was 8 of us checking and we all had the same issue.The rooms are dated but very clean and the bed was comfy. Location is good and plenty of taxis etc to go to old or new town. Walking is about 20 mins. Pool was lovely. Staff in bar were lovely and friendly.

    On arrival we were too early to check im. Thats ok but the the woman at reception was very rude indeed. Eventually we got our rooms. And when we walked in to our horror there was 2 dead cockroaches on the floor! This is the room that we waited 3 hrs for!The entire room was dark dingey and extremely outdated for a 4 star hotel. Next room was just as bad but no creepy crawleys. Check out the video I. Going to put here. Room was disgraceful. Very strange stains on cushions and couch. Plus couch so old and ripped.Staff at the pool rude. Only guy who showed any helpfulness was a barman in the bar.I would never go here again

    Probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. So badly run. The staff were the most miserable arrogant unhelpful people I've ever came across. They hate Irish and British tourists which is funny because thats how they make their money. They end up taking €100 deposit off you at check in which they don't mention before you arrive. They say they give it back when checking out if you stick by the rules which we did and they still never gave our deposit back so they're thieves aswell. Don't go here honestly such a kip of a place and I was never as glad to get checked out of a place in all my life and I will never be back. The rooms aswell are disgusting. Not clean and the smell would choke you.

    A refurbishment is badly needed, room very shabby couches very dirty, grubby marks on the arms and nail clippings and crumbs all over seat. Furniture very dated, one of the dining chairs had a rung missing and there were 2 screws protruding. Air-conditioning unit badly rusted. Broken light fittings, windows cracked. We were on the 6th floor and there was a bad smell when you stepped out of lift. We bought a scented candle kept it burning in our room. A lot of missing tiles in pool.     Having stayed here many years earlier, knew the location was superb & had thought we knew what to expect for our short Easter break. Unfortunately the standards were nowhere near the same. We found the rooms to be in a state of disrepair, door handles hanging off, tape holding light fittings together, balcony doors that could not be locked, foist smelling rooms & corridors. We requested fresh towels & additional bedding as not enough blankets for number of occupants, refused by quite abrupt cleaners, told we’d have to go to reception & pay. Reported the balcony door on arrival, clearly maintenance did come while we were out but, door remained broken, only to be left with dirty workmen gloves left on child’s bed & floor of apartment. Huge pool area in desperate need of some TLC, carpet covered diving platforms & bridge walkways a major trip hazard. Booked alternative accommodation on day two.A real shame really as has the potential to be fantastic as it once was & could be a great family oriented hotel with some great facilities but unfortunately has succumbed to the stag & hen cesspits.
