  we had a lovely time at our go to hotel when in palma, emailed and requested a to floor room we have stayed in before , sky bar across from the room , great room with a balcony facing all of palma down to the sea,fantastic, reception where excellent and very pleasent, they new we had been many times. the drinks and veiw from the sky bar shouldent be missed , drinks not pricey considering the views.breakfast was excellent with lots of choise .we will be returning again to our home in palma. thank you all. mr&mrs power.

  We spent ten days in Hotel Almudaina in April 2026. Booked months before, we paid about €2650 for a B&B stay, which in the overall was good value for what we got.The location. Situated in the City centre, this is an ideal location and suited our needs perfectly.The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and in very good condition. During our stay, towels were changed daily and bed linen every second or third day. The housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient. They ensured a good supply of all the essentials. It was pleasing to have an electric kettle available. A suitcase stand in the room would have been appreciated, and the room was big enough to permit one to be fitted. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Ours was not the most spectacular view from the large balcony - dismal and limited in fact - but it was a good sun-trap in the afternoons. We asked for a room at the back of the hotel because we were wary of street noise in the rooms to the front and we had peaceful sleeps (mostly - the high-heel wearing client in the room above ours on our last night must have walked over and back in the room 150 times, each step of which was clearly heard).Reception services were always fast, friendly and efficient and they were able to point us to several good eating places too. Housekeeping, as mentioned, was very good. The breakfast service staff too were efficient and friendly. Less impressive, we found, were the rooftop restaurant/bar staff who seemed mostly indifferent to the customers. We took a beer there one evening and dined there on another evening (pricey and of average quality), but of course, not every guest will avail of these facilities.The breakfast menu (self-service) was varied and frequently topped-up - a good experience at the start of every day!The staff make the hotel experience in Hotel Almudaina, as you will have surmised from my comments above.We are happy to recommend the hotel.

  Absolutely unacceptable experience on what should have been a really special evening, especially based on the high standards we’ve previously experienced at Sky Bar Alúmdania.This visit was for a birthday meal that had been booked in advance and genuinely looked forward to for quite some time, which makes the overall experience even more disappointing.This venue has always been one of our favourite places to visit, which is why this felt like such a letdown.From the moment we were served, things were clearly not right. The food arrived freezing cold, not just slightly below temperature, but completely unacceptable for a venue that presents itself as premium. There is simply no excuse for food being sent out in that condition.The service throughout the evening was equally poor. There was a clear lack of attention, professionalism, and basic customer care. We felt more like an inconvenience than paying guests. Simple things were overlooked, and there was no effort made to check in, resolve issues, or even acknowledge that the experience was falling short.What made the situation even worse was the behaviour of the staff. It was very obvious that a lady in a blue suit and a barman were talking about us, which is completely unprofessional and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. No guest should ever be made to feel like they are being discussed or judged while dining.To add to this, there was a child — who appeared to be a staff member’s — running around the venue. In a setting that markets itself as a more refined, relaxed environment, this felt entirely inappropriate and disruptive to the atmosphere. It completely took away from what should have been a calm, enjoyable experience.Due to the standard of the food and the overall experience, we made the decision to leave without eating our meals. That alone speaks volumes.Overall, this was a complete letdown from start to finish. Standards have clearly dropped, and it’s incredibly disappointing to see such a noticeable decline in both service and overall experience at a place we once genuinely enjoyed.To have a birthday celebration ruined in this way is really frustrating, and sadly, based on this visit, we would seriously question returning or recommending it to others.

  Wonderful hotel, great location, very helpful reception team, our room was spacious enough with big bathroom. Very clean and housekeeping team was wonderful. The best mattress and memory foam pillows (as well as the normal ones) -I had best sleep! (Question to the hotel- where did you get these foam pillows😁?)Really good breakfast- we had everything we needed. Sky bar is exceptional, good food and beautiful views.

  Lots of positives. Nice modern room, great central location, outstanding breakfast, spectacular views from Sky bar. Also outstanding service from the breakfast team and cleaning staff. The only negative is the level of street noise, especially drunks over night.
