Lovely hotel with a brilliant kids club

    rating28 May 2026

Brilliant holiday over May half term. We had a slightly rocky start with the hotel during check in. Staff were quite rude and dismissive. We arrived at midday and rooms weren’t ready- no problem, we knew check in was 3pm. We eventually got our room about 4.30pm after lots of excuses- so just a heads up if you have an early flight don’t expect to get your room early. The food overall is good. Standard AI buffet but always something fresh and they have chefs cooking so if happy to wait you can get nice hot meat. Drinks on AI- they have an annoying token system to make you take your glass back to the bar. Makes it more convenient for staff but definitely not for guests!! Good selection of drinks available though. Hotel is very nicely decorated and feels luxury when you walk in. Everywhere kept very clean throughout. Bedrooms are clean and tidy. Small for a room for 3 with the extra bed and not much storage but we made it work. The pool is great with a small children’s section and then deeper side. Great to cool down. You can pay a deposit to get pool towels. Plenty of loungers but you do need to get down early on busy weeks to grab a good spot. The lifeguard gives notes out for those that reserve and don’t come back for hours but I didn’t see them do anymore than that! Location is fantastic. Right on the beach with some restaurants and shops. Also a small water sports place to hirer paddle boards and boats. Close to other larger towns and a bus stop down the road and taxi rank outside hotel. Recommend Peguera beach and visiting Port Andratx for sunset. Now to the highlight of the trip! The entertainment staff and kids club. We have a shy 5 year old who never normally wants to go to a kids club. Thanks to the brilliant Tiara she went every day- each time it was open! Tiara was lovely with the kids and did lots of different activities every day. The evening entertainment was varied and enjoyable. Something for everyone. Overall- we had a great stay and would definitely go back!

Absolutely amazing hotel! Beautiful location, spotless rooms, delicious food, and the kindest staff we have ever met. Everything was perfect from start to finish and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay in Mallorca. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel!

Poor hotel- do not stay here

    rating25 May 2026

I stayed at Alua Camp de Mar with my mum and unfortunately it was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. When we arrived, the first room we were given was crawling with flies and bugs and was clearly not clean. The room also overlooked the adults-only bar where groups of men were constantly looking directly into our window, which felt very intimidating and uncomfortable. We went to reception to ask for another room but were initially refused and told they would just send a cleaner. We explained that cleaning alone would not solve the issue and eventually they moved us to another room. Unfortunately, the second room was also unacceptable it was dirty with hairs on the bathroom floor and in the fridge, which was also broken. We complained again and were once more refused another room. We then spoke to the manager who told us she would not provide a better room. After nearly two hours of stress and upset, we had to ask a family member who speaks Spanish to call and explain the situation before we were finally given another room on a different floor. This hotel is absolutely not 4-star standard. The food was consistently cold, poor quality and often inedible. While some staff members were polite and helpful, others were rude and openly complaining about not being paid fairly for the amount of work they are doing for the hotel, which made us feel very uncomfortable for guests to hear while on holiday. We also noticed staff using their phones while customers were waiting to be served at the bar.Sadly, it also felt like German guests were receiving preferential treatment compared to others.Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and I would never return to this hotel it is no higher than a 3 star rating please don’t waste your money going all inclusive.

    Lovely hotel with perfect views!

    rating24 May 2026

Great hotel with plenty of facilities, spacious rooms, and a good variety of food options. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout, and the rooms were very well maintained. The view off the balcony was beautiful and definitely something I won’t forget! My party upgraded to the “MY FAVOURITE CLUB,” which included access to a quieter lounge area with complimentary cold drinks, alcohol-free beverages, coffee, water, and small cakes/sweets. This was a really nice addition, especially as the main entertainment area could get quite crowded. The lounge also had a TV showing live sports, mainly football and Formula 1, which was a bonus. The only downside to the hotel was the token system for all-inclusive drinks. Each guest is given two tokens, which must be exchanged for drinks at the bar. As someone who hadn’t experienced this before, I often forgot to bring my tokens, and they were even required for alcohol-free drinks. There was also frequently a queue just to return glasses and collect tokens back for the next drink, which became frustrating. The food was generally good, although it was sometimes only lukewarm or cold. Another negative was that the main outdoor pool was unheated, so it was absolutely freezing! However, despite the negatives mentioned, I would still visit again. That said, I think one week was definitely long enough for this destination.I would also advise visitors to be careful in the sea, especially at the end of May, as there were a large number of jellyfish during our stay. Unfortunately, I was stung myself, which could easily spoil part of your holiday if you are not cautious.
