  We had a lovely stay at this hotel, so much better than the reviews here lead you to believe and worried me before arrival - do not worry! We are a family of 4.We were different to most guests staying there as we booked bed and breakfast only which was perfect as we like to get out and about when on holiday. This was a great base to explore with plenty of car parking for our hire car. About 15 mins walk to marina and we caught the little train which has a stop outside the hotel to take us to Cala d’or a few times, and it’s about a 40 mins walk there which we did coming back in the evening.The room was huge, so much better than expected! So clean, and I had the sea view upgrade which was just stunning. Best room we’ve ever had!There were always staff cleaning and freshening up the hotel, it’s in great condition.The breakfast was fine. The only slight difficulty for us was that as b&b guests we couldn’t just buy a drink from the bars, they had a complicated sounding cup system where you had to go reception to get it and it was too much faff so we didn’t buy any drinks here, and we would have bought a fair few!All staff were super friendly, especially Irina who made a fuss of my little girl at kids disco.Honestly a lovely place to stay and we would return.Thanks for a great holiday!   We had a wonderful holiday here.A few shops, restaurants and bars are about a 10 /15 min walk away.The food was amazing with plenty of choice.This hotel is very clean and our room was cleaned daily to a high standard.All of the staff were very efficient and friendly, and in particular the entertainment team who were always jolly, friendly and professional .Entertainment was good.Just be aware that there are no lifts at this hotel. The rooms are in blocks with only 3 floors so not too bad .We will definitely recommend this hotel.   Stunning location All staff so helpful and friendly entertainment, lifeguards, reception, waiting staff, bar and cleaners Seaview room upgrade is a must Food and drink lovely and if you pay 3 euros to upgrade your cocktails they’re delicious Pool areas are beautiful My daughters birthday and she was given an amazing room , card and complimentary cake in roomBeds comfortable, rooms very spacious, daily cleaning and right temperature Centrally located Will definitely return!   Honestly wouldn’t stay here again. Be aware when arriving / booking there is the main hotel which is newer & well kept then there’s apartments which are down the road and - falling apart. We booked no breakfast by mistake so upon arrival we added this on but we’d already been allocated a self catering apartment down the road. The apartments are old, don’t feel as safe and surround a pool area separate to the hotel pool. I only realised how better the main hotel was when we hired the shower room for late check out. The apartment had a strong smell of damp, wasn’t maintained, had only one single sheet on top of the mattress which was stained and had holes/broken plaster on the walls. The apartment pool has a group of cats which gather and drink out of the pool, the whole thing put me off even using it. Honestly we picked this 4 star hotel for a long weekend break but it’s more of a 2/3 star hotel, I’m not sure I’d risk booking a 4 star after this place. Reception are mostly helpful where possible. Location - this is in Cala egos not Cala d’Or which is about 20 minute walk to the marina area (bars, supermarkets, restaurants) then 40/45 minute walk to Cala door main area. It has beaches in both directions up to 6-20 minute walk. Be aware on busy days (Saturday/ Sunday) when there is popular events like markets on that getting a taxi from the hotel.   AVOID - Family holiday disruption

  I would avoid this hotel as i feel it ruined / disrupted our first holiday with our 1yr old.Upon arrival no cot for baby (despite being requested) No AC (turned off due to time of year on lockout). Despite room Being 26-27c. They moved us to a different room that wasnt much better. Day 4 of our holiday, exhausted from a 1yr old not sleeping the AC was turned on but would not go cooler than 22c. Food for an all inclusive was distinctly below average, cold, appalling. Cereal was stale and pretty disgusting. Avoid the grill section as was served a very questionable piece of pork. Repeatedly had to call reception as room hadnt been serviced also...
