  Basic but amazing location makes up for it

  This is a budget basic place, so you can't expect ultimate glamour.Pros were: - excellent view from the very spacious balcony. You really are right on the seafront. -glass wall/doors to the balcony so it's bright and you get the views inside-excellently located. Right by all the shops, bars (in summer I do imagine this would mean noisy too at night but in April it was fine), 5 mins walk from a bus stop the has direct buses to the airport, Palma, on a very regular basisCons:-the blankets were straight up manky, on of them had a cigarette burn in it, just felt this was poor even for a basic place-no WiFi!- again even for a basic place, I fell like WiFi is a simple provision everywhere should have Ultimately I think I would stay here again, you do really get a lot for your money all things considered

  We had 3 nights mid week middle of July. My friends first time in palma nova. She adored it . Apartments were basic, but spotlessly clean . We were on 3rd floor with amazing views and a large balcony from which to enjoy them. Only negative the flights of stairs. Had a late nite return and travel centre opposite kindly look after our cases on last day and allowed us to change into flight home clothes. Thank you Davide, think his name was. Definitely returning and looking for flights etc, just going to ask for first floor all floors have fantastic views. Thank you Belair apartments see you soon .

  I had a week's holiday in a one bedroomed apartment and I really enjoyed myself. As other reviews mention, the apartments are a bit tired and basic but I knew this when booking and mine was spotlessly clean and the sea view was amazing! Check in was straightforward although the office where I checked in was unable to give me any details about my return transfer to the airport with Jet2 as they hadn't been sent the information, no details had been left in the apartment building and the hotel where the Jet2 Rep was usually based had closed for the end of the season so I ended up getting a public bus to the airport.

  Best View on the Island

  We arrived at the apartments at around 10.30pm and was instructed to pick up the keys from some excursion office just up the road , However it was closed , a man in the local shop said we should inquire in the hotel next door , luckily our keys had been left there on reception , We had booked a Studio with seaview , The room was basic , somewhat dated but had everything you needed The beds were basically two sofas but somehow I managed to sleep really well on them , The bathroom was clean , adequate and we got clean towels every couple of days , so no complaints ! The view from the balcony was amazing and of all the places I've stayed this was definitely the best view of all , From opening those sliding doors you felt as though your holiday had started , It was also extremely quiet at night considering Magaluf is only 150 yards away With a little TLC and a few quid updating them they would become the best apartments on the island, I'm very happy though with the price I've paid and had a real pleasant stay

  When i booked with jet2holidays they knew i was disabled and could not walk very easily, nowhere in the literature for this accommodation did it say there were no lifts, now that was the big problem, we were on the 3rd floor with 35 steps which i found very difficult indeed, so we got in touch with the rep called Lesley who tried very hard to get us moved to either a ground floor or at the very least another hotel with no success! the owner "who will no doubt read this" was not very helpful at all, he could if he had wanted refunded at least part of the rooms money so we could afford to move to another hotel "because they wanted a lot of money to move" my husband actually spoke to the owner about this problem and he was very adamant no refund of any amount was possible, there you have it not helpful at all, also when i booked this holiday i ordered a mobility scooter only to find out there was nowhere to park or plugit in for charging then Lesley the rep went above and beyond to help me arranged for my husband to take the mobility scooter up the road to the Comodorro Hotel to put it on charge overnight, David the manager there was very kind to us and understood the predicament we were in more helpful than the owner of the hotel where we stayed, just one more thing the lady up the road at the place we had to go to first to collect the keys was i could only liken to a Rottweiler the way she spoke to me, very unprofessional ManagerSantaPonsa, Propietario at Apartamentos Balear Beach, responded to this review Dear Madam,Our 1 Key or 1 star Apartments, means basic, budget and cheap accommodation. "No lift is not mentioned anywhere" in description and facilities, very simple, obviously because a 1 star-1 key hotel or apartmemts doesn't have it. So, it is very easy in the information age, where we live, to see with the description, facilities and photos what you are going to find in your destination (hotel).I' m not God, I don't do miracles, our apartments are in a tiny building with just 4 apartmemts in 1st floor, 4 apartments in 2nd floor and 4 apartmemts in 3rd floor. If in your arrival date and during your stay any apartment is available in first floor, I can not change or move you to the first floor because other customers with the same or worse mobility situation than you are accommodated in first floor. You are not alone in Mallorca in September, other customers with your same age and mobility are inside our hotel with the same right like you to be accommodated in first floor.The mistake to book a basic and tiny apartments with no lift is yours because you don't read before you book it and you don't know what you book, it's not our fault. So, the owner, the apartments, don't have to do any refund to any customer because you got what you paid for, an apartment with an official category of 1 star with no lift.About your mobility scooter exactly the same, the building doesn't have any common area, just apartmemts spread over 3 floors with an stairway and no plugs are available in common areas because there are no common areas. So, for that reason you had to ask help to our neighbour hotel for recharge the battery of your mobility scooter.About insults to our staff? Typical behavior from tourists when they don't get what they want and customers who don't want to understand that mistake is yours.In other booking in other hotel, we can recommend you to READ before you book it, as easy as READ it before you pay for it.Regards,OwnerBalear Beach ApartmentsSon Matias BeachPalmanova
