  Central location, quiet, clean and friendly

  Booked through a discount holiday company.We are a family of 5, so after paying flights, limited budget remains... I am always worried we'll end up somewhere that barely has a roof and no windows. However so far been lucky. We arrived to a clean lounge area, with a notice of those due to check in and corresponding room number.Our room (11) was on an upper level, with a double bedroom, single bedroom and 2 good size (and comfortable!) Single sofa bed in lounge area...we also had 2 balconies.The pool area with sun loungers was clean at all times. The whole appartments and outdoor area are well maintained. Indeed on afternoon of first day I noted the pool side shower drain was clogged- second morning, first thing, maintenance were sorting it! 👍There is also a female and male toilet and shower at poolside, laundry and table tennis table.Minor issues to be aware of;The appartments are sited in two buildings, main building 1-13 and the annexe, 14-17. The main building is spread over 3 floors and the annexe over 2. You cannot avoid steps in this apartment block- bear this in mind if you have mobility issues.We were very lucky with sunny days- as would be expected for Mallorca in August! The days got to 34° and night no lower than 27°. Air conditioning was greatly missed!!!! We had an electric fan in each room, but these honestly didn't help in the heat!Although the room was very clean on arrival, and we saw the cleaning lady attend several appartments during our stay, she did not service our room at all during the week.Having said this, I would consider returning- but the lack of air conditioning is something that would possibly deter this, it is sorely needed

  I had room 4 which was set back so could only just see the pool. Whilst the apartment was clean the shower curtain really needed replacing as it was a bit black around the bottom edge. I thought the apartment lacked a bit of equipment as 4 people could have been staying there, although it would have been very cramped. Having no one at reception would have been OK but there was no way of me knowing which room I had until I walked around and found an envelope tucked in the door with my name on it, the listing that was in the reception area was from the previous week. On two separate occasions I helped other guests find there accommodation

  Great location in quiet part of small resort Cala San Vicenc North of Mallorca. Stayed for 6 nights with my sister a week ago. We were lucky to have ground floor apartment no 4 right at the end so it had more privacy than other ones, direct access to the pool. Large living area and terrace, standard style bedroom and bathroom. No frills like most regular self catering apartments in Spain. Well equipped fridge has freezer compartment. Kettle, toaster and lots of crockery and cutlery. Plenty of towels, cleaning and bed change one during our time there. Shower over bath great, good water pressure and hot water. Kitchen tap also had very hot water so had to be careful. Booked quite late but ended up costing £400 for 6 nights which was cheapest around the time compared to most other similar apartments.Pool area was cleaned daily there was a maintenance guy going around cleaning and checking things every day. No reception on site information available upon arrival on the board. Easy stay, no trouble as guests mainly older couples or families with young kids who were able to fully enjoy the safe pool area. Homely feel and great views across to the mountains. Lots of birds around and plants/trees surrounding the pool area.I was quite unwell most of the week with migraine attacks so it was a great place to relax. Pool bit cool but good for swimming, I found sea way too cold to swim so that was greatShort walk from restaurants and beaches. Found La Tasca to be best value and to have great food, ate there three times. Also memorable chipirones and fab piña coladas at Pepes Bar. My sister ate in Modesto one night alone and loved the place but found food bit plain and simple, as she loves unusual and strong flavours. Although she said service was excellent and food was good quality, charcoal grilled meat was ten times better at La Tasca where we shared grilled mixed kebab one night. Unbelievably tender with smoky flavour! Shops couple of mins walk away incl tobacco shop, supermarket, gift shop with lots of nice beach bags etc. seemed to be open all day long. Bus stop Opposite the supermarket, 1.50 euros each to Pollenca at 10.45 or Puerto Pollenca at 9.45 if I remember correctly. Bus Back from Puerto Pollenca departed 3.15pm so that was enough for day visit and left time to spend by the pool. Also visited Alcudia old town, another 15 mins bus from Puerto Pollenca. So you don't have to feel stuck in the small resort which was very quiet.I really liked the apartment would recommend for those seeking relaxation if not bothered about kids around which we didn't. We had sun, clouds, thunderstorms, torrential rain the lot but enjoyable week. Wouldn't go during colder months as I need sun and warmth but each to their own.

  A Wonderful Place To Stay

  The apartments are well equipped and comfortable. They are spotlessly clean on arrival and the cleaners do a fab job during your stay and are very friendly.The pool and surrounding area are cleaned every day and there is plenty of room to sun bathe.We booked with Portvil, who also arranged our taxis to and from the airport.Thanks especially to Silvia who once again made our booking so easy.

  What a gem!

  We spent four nights here at the end of October. Lovely place - clean, wonderful pool area and sunbeds. We had a 1Bed Apartment with large fridge, microwave and hob - all kitchen essentials supplied not that we needed to cook as we ate out every night, but perfect for breakfast and chilling Sangria! Very quiet as it was the end of the season but this suited us and we had some quality family time under cloudless skies with our little 5 year old. Will definitely return.
