Location

This simple aparthotel is located in the tourist centre of Puerto Alcudia, close to the town centre. Scores of shopping and entertainment venues including shops, souvenir shops, restaurants and bars are to be found in the vicinity. Fine sand Playa de Alcudia lies some 800 m from the complex and links to the public transport network are also located directly in front of the complex.

Facility

307 apartments are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, central heating and a fan. Some rooms include a balcony. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (for a fee) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a vanity mirror are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The complex has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. A waterslide and a refreshing drink at the poolside snack bar offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The complex offers a wide range of outdoor sports, including tennis, volleyball, crazy golf, golf, archery, fishing and horse riding. For a fee, guests can also enjoy cycling/mountain biking. With water skiing, windsurfing, motorboat rides, paddle boating, banana boat rides, canoeing, catamaraning, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts and callisthenics. After a long day, guests can relax in the wellness area, which features a spa and a solarium. Massage treatments are among the facilities available for an extra fee.     Filthy hotel

    The room we stayed in was filthy, the shutter doors covering the kitchen were covered in layers of dust and food that had not been cleaned for months, the swimming pool area wasn't cleaned once while we was there, staff were friendly apart from one lady on reception who was abrupt and rude.

    Super friendly, very clean and comfortable. Good food and drinks in the RedLion bar. I would recommend the Siesta without hesitation

    Birthday week away with the wife

    Came here for the week for my wifes birthday. 29th April to 6th May. After a nightmare transfer that took 3 and half hours, we were greeted at reception by Diana and a male colleague. Took around 15 minutes to check in due people in front of us but thats still quick. It's always a good start when you are given a warm welcome to your hotel. On hearing of our transfer we were offered cold water. Up to the room, a studio appartment. Everything we needed, kitchenette, plenty of storage space, a free safe (why all hotels don't offer this ?) free wifi and it was clean. The shower was a typical spanish hotel shower, powerful yet one milimeter this way our that and you would have freezing cold or very hot ! Towells changed twice during the week. No issues with the room at all. However, the noise level at this hotel is off the scale. You can hear everything, outside noise, next door, up above, someone farts upstairs and you'll hear it. Not a massive deal breaker for us but might be a problem for some. Beds are comfortable enough. The hotel is kept very clean and the grounds are well maintained. The resident cats are friendly enough. The pool area is again very well kept and I found the pool to be just right for a dip. Not as cold as some hotel pools. The Red Lion pub, friendly service, good selection of drinks and the food is adequate. Tried the chicken skewer and it was good. The staff in here are also friendly. Can't comment on the entertainment as thats not for us but they do have a mini disco each night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and are very grateful to the staff for their friendly and approach to helping with any issues that arise. It really does make a difference to your stay when the staff are friendly and proffesional and they certainly are at the Siesta. Thanks for a great holiday.

    Superior apartment is a dump

    The pool is excellent.The superior apartment we had was a complete dump.The old receptionist lacks people skills and I think has just given up on her job. Was very hostile and unwelcoming from the first 30 seconds. Time to retire love. Will never return here.

    Just stayed there for a week with my wife and 3 kids, absolutely beautiful hotel. Our room was very spacious and clean. Everything worked as it should. Pool area was kept clean an tidy. Would definitely go back. The only down side is no hotel restaurant/bar. Highly recommend this place to stay. Staff were all helpful and welcoming too.
