  Perfect spot with great supportive staff.

  We stayed here in March 2026 and really enjoyed our time.The resort is quite large and has a strategic location on the edge of Cala Pi, offering beautiful views depending on the room you book. We had an apartment on the top floor and the views were fantastic. The terrace was equipped with a barbecue area, which became a highlight for the whole family.I truly appreciated the friendly staff, always ready to help despite the hectic environment. Imagine having hundreds of guests to take care of every day — yet Maria at the reception always greeted us with a smile, thnk you again and Carlos had always quick replies and a professional attitude when solving things. The kitchen staff and the rest of the team were equally kind and attentive with a visible willing to help. I hope the management will reward them with a extra bonus because they really deserve it !!!The apartments differ in layout and style, so I recommend contacting the reception if you have specific preferences. Every guest has different needs, especially families, so it’s better to talk to them before booking — it will solve many questions and help you get the best possible experience.The location is perfect, we loved the quiet and if you enjoy nature, hiking, walking, swimming or snorkelling this is for you definitely. It’s a tranquil place, and if you’re a night owl looking for nightlife, you might find it a bit too calm. But for families, couples, and those looking for a civilisation spot it’s ideal.Cala Pi is one of the most appreciated spots on Mallorca — unique cliffs, turquoise water and great snorkelling. We even spotted rays in the evenings resting in the sand. They looked like mobula rays, but there are also stingrays with venomous spines in Mallorca according to chatbot (a bit unsure), so be mindful if you swim late in the evening, they will not sting but if you walk on them probably will be scared. You can often see them from the cliffs and they use to rest near the fishermen’s spot.The food is always a sensitive topic because tastes differ, so I won’t leave any recession. We had several options every day, and breakfast offered good variety with different themes — tapas one morning, pancakes another, and even donuts and waffles that were a hit with the kids but there is always something for them which are the worst judges (joking) like pasta buffe or fries which was appreciate it. The chef is there every evening looking to help with allergi questions or anything else, also the staff was very attentive making sure you are welcome and feel good. We got great help every time asking for atypical service like lunch box or late dinner.. very supportive all of them, thank you again !I hear comments that drinks was not for free, but with all respect there is no info about being for free, there is kind of standard for different meal options so make sure you pick up the one fits you the best.Regarding the management, I could clearly see their efforts to maintain high standards. The place is clean, well‑run and constantly in motion. Even off‑season it was full, so I can imagine midsummer being very busy — but they seem to handle it well.The village of Cala Pi is very small with only a few restaurants, but we took the car to Palma whenever we wanted more options — only a 20‑minute drive. We loved the hikes, which became our main activity. There is a natural park right outside Cala Pi where you can choose as many kilometers as you like. Forest, coastline, hidden gems like Cala Beltrán, and beautiful sunsets — we appreciated all of it.For those wanting to connect with nature, this place is perfect. And don’t worry about the kids — there’s a nice kids’ club with activities and entertainment beside of course the pools.Overall, we found exactly what we needed here. We enjoyed our stay, felt it offered very good value for money, it was a good vacation were we found rest and quality comfort and we will definitely be back.   Outdated but nice location and staff

  We spent 10 nights at a 2 bedroom appartment, including full board. The appartment was really outdated and some things were just in really bad shape: one of the AC units was filled with mold, there was mold on the ceiling, there was a curtain missing in the bedroom and the floors were really dirty (black soles when walking barefoot through the appartment). We let this know at the reception and they sent someone the same day who cleaned the floor, put up a curtain and removed the mold from the AC unit. We don’t know how thoroughly the AC unit was cleaned so to be sure we didn’t use it during our stay. The bathroom is really old and although most functions, it’s just not it. The toilet is crammed behind a door and hard to reach. Beds were really comfy and we were happy to have access to our own washer and a functional kitchen.The restaurant staff was really kind and welcoming, which was very nice. Breakfast was great and quite nice, so was dinner. Lunch was just really bad. They requested us to pick up the food instead of eating in because they had little guests, but we got something different than we ordered every single day. The portions were huge and the food usually consisted of greasy meat with soggy potatoes. Apart from the food not being yummy, it also really bothered us that we received different food than what we picked from the menu. Imagine if you have allergies… We really didn’t enjoy lunch unfortunately. One thing that bothered us was the lack of kids chairs in the restaurant. It’s not even peak season yet and still we had to eat with our toddler on our lap multiple times because they were out of kids chairs. This seems like an easy thing to fix but apparently it’s not important enough. The location is nice and very close to the stunning beach, which was great! Overall there is not much to do in Cala Pi so a rental car is recommended. You can park on the street which seems quite safe, sometimes its hard to find a spot due to beach visitors. We didn’t really use the pool since it was too cold but it looked fine. Kids club was cute, quite small but our toddler liked coloring there. We had an okay stay but we won’t return to Ona Cala Pi. The place has great potential but clearly the organization is not putting enough love and care into the hotel to make it a nice place to stay. Such a shame actually because the location is lovely and so is the restaurant staff. We really felt like the head of the hotel doesn’t want to put any effort into the place to make it actually enjoyable for guests. We read some positive reviews about people who stayed in their upgraded apartments. I also requested being placed in an upgraded apartment but they didn’t take in my request. Maybe those apartments are truly better, but then it baffles me that they still let people stay in moldy, dirty apartments and let them pay the same price to stay.   Horrible place with no service

  If you want to flush your money in the toilet - come and visit Ona Cala Pi. The horror story starts with reception: incompetent and rude people, especially the one called Maria P. They are rude, tell you lies and try to give you apartment worse quality only because their cleaning team FINALLY cleaned at least that one. Instead of owing their mistakes, they blame each other at the reception. Restaurant food is very bad: plane, no taste, horrible choices. Music blasts by the pool.
