Location

This hotel is located in a peaceful side street, 50 m from the edge of the resort and 500 m from the kilometre-long sandy beach. Numerous shops, bars and restaurants are located in the hotel's immediate vicinity. A bus stop with regular bus connections to the island's capital as Palma as well as Playa de Palma is located directly in front of the hotel. There is a golf course 7 km away.

    Very nice hotel,it was very clean and the staff were excellent,breakfast was good and I would go for this hotel again as its convenient.

    Because of a medical emergency we lost our return flight to the UK & had to find a hotel for the night. So we were recommended to try Can Pastilla which we first visited in 1968. Finding the Hotel Balear was so fortunate for us. The family run hotel by Margarita & her team is first class. Lovely clean, comfortable rooms with an excellent breakfast. The staff are so helpful and with a prime location near to the beach & restaurants it represents very good value. We will return

    I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had variety and taste delicious. Room was spacious. Great location! You can hire a bike for the day for €8. Would recommend to solo travellers and couples. Great stay!

    Violent incompetent staff

    I have been staying here for 2 nights have just tried to extend the third. This hotel is well placed by the beach but is a bit dingy and I wonder about the security. But it was okay so I booked another room. I pay 95euros down at the reception just now at 6.15 am on august 31st to a receptionist ( from Senegal, tall black, thin, glasses, middle aged) who doe snot know how to do his job. After waiting 20 minutes for him to even pull up the listing and having him go through the paper work as if he doesn't know how to read, he had me pay by card, which I paid for . I checked with my bank it went through. Almost 100 EUROS. he the. Had te receipt machine block and realized it was paperless. He took another 10 minutes to find the paper roll and still could make the machine work so I TEIE TO MAKE ME PAY AGAIN. I SHOWED HIM I ALREADY HAD SAID I WOULDNT BE DOING IT. HE INSISTED I COME DOWN AT 8 OR 9 AM TO SI IT AGAIN WITH HIS OTHER COLLEAGUE WHO KNOW SHOW TO DO IT. I have a meeting. When I refuse and said I needed some type of proof of payment he started yelling at me that he wouldn't give it to me and that I had to pay again. It was his mistake. I showed his. I ASKED HIM TO GET A STAFF MEMBER TO HELP AN DHE REFUSED. I tried to go back to my room and he go violent and ready to hit me ,, ran after me and I had to call the police. Between this and the creepy receptionist from before, this hotels staff are not safe people . I wouldn't recommend.

    Great hotel, excellent location and the most helpful and considerate staff (Stoyan 🙏) I am very happy about our stay. On top of the great beach nearby the hotel is also not far from Palma, you can take the bus to visit the city or go to the airport.
