    Overall, I think this hotel gets reviewed a bit too harshly, although I can understand why if people are paying peak season prices. I stayed at a very reasonable rate and, for what I paid, I thought it was good value.The best thing about the hotel is definitely the location. It’s right on the beach and the grounds themselves are really pretty. I originally booked a city view room but was upgraded for free to a sea view room, which was a really nice surprise. I’d definitely recommend paying extra for a sea view if possible as the views are lovely and, from the room I briefly saw, the non-sea view rooms looked much less appealing.My room itself was decent enough, although definitely a bit dated as other reviews mention. Cleanliness could have been better, and the bathroom door didn’t actually shut properly. It wasn’t an issue for me as I was travelling alone, but it could be awkward if sharing. Also worth mentioning that the bathroom door was frosted glass, which personally I’m not a fan of.The pool area was nice and never felt too busy. I had half board and thought the dinner food was generally pretty good. It was à la carte rather than buffet, which was a plus. My only criticism is that the menu stayed exactly the same every day and there were only a few choices, so it got repetitive after a while. Breakfast was pretty mediocre.The surrounding area is a little run down and there are a few strip clubs nearby, but I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable, and the beach itself is really nice.Overall, not perfect, but for the price I paid I enjoyed my stay and thought it offered decent value in a great beachfront location.

    Stayed here for 5 nights with a group of 8. I shared a room with a friend. The room is spotless but it is very small. The toilet and shower configuration is one I could not grasp no privacy and would not even suit a married couple. I suggest this needs to be upgraded. The storage is very limited with no drawers of any note. However I cannot speak highly enough about the location the staff and the food.
