    Considering the hotel has had somewhat of a refurbishment, it would have been nice for our bathroom in room 119 to have been finished, before we arrived.Exposed foam around the entire door casing, and streaks from tiling grout, all over the walls from shoddy workmanship.The door leading to the balcony needs sorting.The handle was pretty much hanging off, and the door itself was a nightmare to open and close.Its the second time we've stayed here, and its definitely our last.The food was sub standard in the cafeteria. One toaster for everyone to fight over.Fried eggs 70% cooked.The only good thing is its 100 yards from the beach.

    Last minute booking, looked for something cheap and cheerful, ended up at Playamar. Firstly its clear that if you are polite, the staff will look after you, if you are rude and demanding, they will do the same. The service and facilities are better than a 2 star. The food is great and the drinks are generous. Local buses will take you anywhere. Hireing a bike is so cheap and if you keep off the beach from and stay on the side street, the food and drinks are dirt cheap, as much 100% cheaper.Loved the staff and pool. I will be coming back later this year!     You have to check out for 11am, then you’re left all day without food or drink, even though we were all inclusive! Awful

    We appreciate it’s a 2 star hotel. We accepted the basic rooms and minimal standards as part of the package. The room/apartment was clean enough and the staff were truly lovely! Amin was a gentleman, very kind, welcoming and personable. He made it an enjoyable stay. What truly angered us is that we had to check out at 11am. Our pickup isn’t until 18:45pm at the hotel. We had our All Inclusive bands cut off and told we could no longer eat or drink at the hotel!! So we have to go ALL DAY WITH NOTHING! We are travelling with my bother who has special needs/autism and learning difficulties. This is absolutely absurd and a despicable way to treat guests. Literally thrown out and expected to now buy meals. We are staying for 4 nights and 5 days. Any other hotel in any other part of the world we have visited have ALWAYS allowed us to eat/drink until we are collected from the hotel. Utterly shocking and wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re leaving early the day of your checkout.
