  Nice hotel but don't include evening meal

  I have stayed in lots of blue sea hotels and loved them all. This was ok, but definitely the worse I've stayed in. Mainly due to the ridiculous queuing for evening meal every night, wasn't fun. Unless you are happy to have your tea at 9pm, you're queuing for a ridiculous amount of time and struggle to get a seat. You have to fill your plate, as to get seconds means another mighty long queue. They need to adjust timings to earlier, or a longer period of time for evening meal. Only other option is to only allow a lot less people to book half board. I have never experienced such an awful evening meal experience ever. I would only book room only or bed and breakfast. I have also never been charged anywhere ever before to store luggage. There has always been a complimentary luggage room. Here, you had to pay to store it. Very unfair.   Booked all inclusive package only allowed 3 very small alcoholic drinks with lunch and dinner. This was not stated when booked!!! (We would have chosen somewhere else). The food was always cold even if you went as soon as it was available. No entertainment! Pool area was small and in the shade until late in the afternoon so not able to sunbathe. Do not book this hotel if you are expecting to be able to stay at your hotel and use all inclusive facilities unless your happy with soft drinks all day! More like full board than all inclusive.   The hotel itself looks just like the photos, tidy and clean. Just a few mins walk to the beach front. The single room was like a prison cell, air con didn’t work, tv faced the wall not the bed, in a narrow room it isn’t watchable. The hotel is adult only but faces a child’s play ground. It’s very loud both inside and outside, you can hear everyone slamming doors all night long and all the noises outside, so would recommend ear plugs for the light sleepers. Aside from that it was great and a bargain, you do get what you pay for.   Myself and husband booked this knowing it would be rubbish it was 4 days of using this place just for a bed ( hotel looks close to being a hostel) room flights £400 so can’t really moan It was a quick break If this was our holiday I would be upset but not being flash would not book a place like thisAll inclusive it’s not 6 grown up drinks a day No one is getting tiddly at this hotel Given a card so the bar staff mark it with the limit amount We didn’t use as we went out and I’m not degrading myself with this action So definitely get your poison of choice in a shop as this massive 6 drinks a day 3 lunch and 3 dinner is either beer or wine The queue for the lunch and dinner times is long it looked a bloody chore for people to do I can’t comment on the food but looked in on a lunch time and it has salad choices and little main choices On a plus side of this hotel you get to go home 😉The pool area is uninviting and looks like you may have sunbed wars as there are limited beds The bar area just at the side of reception has 5 tables great if you want to sit there and others have the same idea This hotel is gearing against being in the hospitality business it’s run to suit them I’m in hospitality and you choose this business as you love people and giving the best service There’s no entertainment of a evening to be fair there’s no room to have this option Location is just a short walk to the beach and the main drag with some nice bars and restaurants If you book this place go with the idea it’s just a bed to use I see some reviews loving the place god knows what they have stayed in before 4 days here is definitely enough Hotel Manager, Owner at BLUESEA Arenal Tower Adults Only, responded to this review Dear Guest,We are grateful for your feedback and for highlighting these matters.We are pleased that our proximity to the beach and main amenities contributed positively to your stay.We sincerely apologize that your experience fell short in several aspects.
