  AVOID AT ALL COSTS

  Wow… where do I even begin. We arrived to find our first room filthy, with a broken door. Thankfully, the gentleman on reception moved us straight away, but unfortunately things only got worse from there.We were moved into room 305 - avoid at all costs. The sewage line was directly outside the bathroom, and every time we turned the air conditioning on, the room filled with the unbearable smell of raw sewage. Even after we stopped using the air-con, the smell continued coming through the vents. It was absolutely disgusting. We spoke to the same receptionist again and his response was, “Oh yes, I know exactly what you mean.” Honestly shocking that this was a known issue.Our third room was slightly better, but the hotel overall is incredibly dated, dirty, and run down. The room doors are basic old style locks with keys, the walls are paper thin, and you can hear absolutely everything around you.On our fifth night, the lock on our door jammed completely and we were trapped inside the room. Reception wouldn’t answer the phone, so we called head office, only to be told they couldn’t get through to reception either. In the end, my partner had to climb across to the neighbouring balcony and go through another guest’s room just so we could get out.The food was poor, about what you’d expect from a very cheap all inclusive. Also, make sure you read the small print before booking because the “all inclusive” package only includes 6 drinks per DAY, with limited options like disgusting tap wine or beer. It’s ridiculous. I read other reviews about this and BlueSea have responded saying it’s “law” regarding the 6 drinks per day but I’ve stayed all inclusive in Majorca before and never experienced restrictions like this.Overall, this is genuinely the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, and I absolutely would not recommend it to anyone.   Perfect location, quiet, clean and enjoyable

  Hotel review I was a little apprehensive before coming g due to so many negative picky reviews, but something I’m learning is people have very high expectations for places that clearly have 2-3 stars. Also these stars are based on facilities and not the incredible service you receive.So I will give my honest review knowing that the hotel is 3 stars and having been to another hotel in the area last year. Before arriving I had already had an amazing experience with communication from the hotel, I needed storage for my son’s medicine and upon emailing them they replied promptly and with clear solution’s.We arrived at the hotel around 1230, we’d already been told check in is 2pm and there was payable lockers where we could leave our bags, however we went to reception to check in and they said both our rooms were ready which I think is incredible. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels before and they are very strict on check in times.The rooms, room 1 is a triple, 3 single beds. The rooms distinctively smelt clean the second you opened the door, we had a balcony which over looked the street, a double wardrobe, 2 chairs , TV and a luggage stand . Everything was sparkling clean, the bathroom was again perfectly clean only fault was a crack on the sink which maybe yes they could upkeep and replace but it’s not the end of the world, also no plug for the bath and having children that would have been helpful. They supply hand wash and body wash as well as a hairdryer. Room 2- single bed, wardrobe, desk TV, full bathroom, no balcony but windows over looking community pool. So so far so good, the room, reception, lobby and elevator all extremely clean and welcoming. So now onto the all inclusive, so yes there are rules in areas of Spain for drinking, so don’t moan as they are very clear. 3 wines and 3 beers each day which are only served during meal hours, so yes sit in the lobby and have a wine but between 1&3 or 730pm & 9pm. You can’t complain when the rules are clear. All other drinks are available all day, on the bar they have sandwiches wrapped you can access all day and spainish pastries. You can purchase alcohol or other drinks at the bar as-well and pay.Personally I love this rule as it stops rowdiness’s in hotels so as a family we enjoy that. There plenty of place you can go and get alcohol and it’s not expensive.So now for the food I will document my thoughts on each day to give a fair review, we will be eating out a couple of evenings .Day 1- lunch, plenty of options, paella, chicken burgers, beef burgers, fish option, soup option, meat option, huge salad and bread bar and desserts. Pasta bar.Dinner - paella, meat option, fish option, stew, pasta bar, salad bar, dessert bar, bread option. Personally for a small hotel I feel there is plenty of choices, the only negative is food is not hot, somethings are barely warm, definitely something they could resolve quickly I’m sure. But the restaurant is very clean, all food is replenished quickly and often, lots of staff around clearing tables and talking to guests. Day 2– breakfast.Very impressed, such a huge variety, lots of fresh fruit and yoghurts, bread, pastries, traditional hot breakfasts.Lunch- lots available again only negative not hot.Amazing man behinds the bar, so friendly and helpful, makes the time to address the children but isn’t over bearing. Receptionist today, helpful and friendly. Hotel was a little busier today but plenty of beds available around the pool. Day 3- Breakfast same as yesterday , lots of options, lots of staff, food replenished quickly Dinner, very much the same options, fish, meat and vegetables, pasta and salad bar, again only negative is food is not hot, Amazing service from bar staff again, quickly seen to even when busy for my sons medication, Day 4- same trend with the food, I will say not a huge selection for children, even a f they eat different foods, we did discover the microwave today so was able to heat the food up. Restaurant staff are very good, clearing tables quickly and if you ask for anything they are quick to help.This hotel staff proved daily they give 5 star service, the hotel was cleaned to a 4-5 star standard. our room was cleaned 3 days which given we stayed for 5 I think is great. Final day, check out is 11, we went to the lower level where there are multiple lockers you pay by card and hold your things safely there, we were able to enjoy our last day without worrying about our things and was still allowed full access to the hotel and facilities untill we left. Multiple staff members on reception during our stay, they were all so helpful and kind, very inclusive of my children with speaking to them directly. There are your reps int he lobby which o think is amazing for solo travellers or single parent families that would like the ease of booking something. Bus stop right outside your hotel, we went to Palma city for the day at €2 per person, the main strip is around 10 minute walk, some beautiful places to eat and so many shops. Yes there is a busy/lively area in the centre but you can cross over and walk away from it but n the grand scale of the strip it really is a very small portion. All in all we had a fantastic experience at the Blue Sea Costa Verde and would highly recommend.Quick mention the bar man Azman who was an amazing human and incredible with children.   Sea View, Sunsets & Calm Atmosphere in Arenal Palma

  Really nice and quiet hotel in Arenal Palma 🌅 The room was clean and comfortable, and the best part was the beautiful sea view from our room. We loved watching the sunset every evening 🌊☀️ The location was perfect too — very close to the bus stop and only a 10-minute walk to the beach. Peaceful atmosphere and a great place to relax.
