Location

This beach hotel is situated right in the tourist centre. From the outskirts of town towards Cala Bona, is a wonderful beach promenade lying only around 200 m away. Just 500 metres from the hotel, guests will find Cala Millor's pedestrianised area. Links to the public transport network are also to be found in the immediate vicinity.

Facility

The hotel was modernised in 2022. 118 non-smoking rooms are available to guests in a 5-storey main building and a 4-storey auxiliary building. In the air-conditioned hotel, guests are welcomed in the lobby with -hour reception desk and a -hour check-in/check-out service. The hotel provides a TV room, a car hire service and medical assistance. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area.

Rooms

Air conditioning, central heating, a fan and a heating stove ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard amenities of some rooms. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. Guests may safely secure their valuables in a safe for an additional fee.     So here we go,we've just come back from a short break away here and we definitely wont be back it is as bad as the reviews that you read.First of the location is perfect and that is all.Up on arrival the reception is nice and clean however they do just make it look clean the hotel pool aera was never washed down at all it was only mopped never even seen a brush,the sunbeds are as bad as people say,the material is saggy and you can feel the frame underneath,plus again they weren't cleaned either.The pool bar drinks are fine even the alcoholic drinks taste good,the bar snacks are a joke rubbish sandwiches in clingfilm and small pastries from breakfast never have I ever seen this in a hotel before,no choice available either and no other alternatives for people with food allergies.The dinning room is small with not alot of choice unless you like chips,pasta and soup,breakfast was the only meal that was the best for choice but they definitely only use the cheapest produce,hardly and fruit as well.we had payed for an apartment because I need to keep my medication cold until I need to use it but when we arrived our apartment wasn't ready so we was told to come back later on in the day,when we went back i was told that there was now a problem with the room and that we can have a smaller room in the hotel for the night until our apartment is ready the next day,so in the morning as told we reported to reception and requested our room but again for the 3rd time i was told it wasn't ready and needed to be cleaned (so was there an issue or did it still have customer's in it)???.While in the small room it had 2 single beds which the mattresses where uncomfortable and discussing one had some sort of stain which looked like dried blood.the bathroom was poxy and there was no plug in the bath either.there was no fridge so i couldn't put my medication in which then in turn causes me issues.when I spoke to the receptionist she seemed annoyed and replied with "what do you want me to do"i then said asked to speak to the hotel manager who wasn't available until the next day and when I did see him he was just as bad as she was saying i need to speak with the company I booked with all in all this place is as ive previously said a JOKE.the staff are rude and seem to not want to be there if you ask them anything they try to avoid you and if they do answer there reply seems like a chore for them.there is no park for the children,no entertainment no information about anything thats is supposed to be happening in the hotel so really alot of false advertising ,there is a communal bath room but again no plug for the bath.Really i could keep going on about this hotel but its just a waste of time please DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.And there reply will be that there sorry and that they will look into changing things like they have said to almost every review on here,don't take my word for it look at the reviews. And believe me nothing has change at all.     Location is good just a few minutes away from the front Our room was clean, but could have done with some drawer or shelf space. The food was very repetitive and very salty and the meat cuts they used was all bone, We ate out most nights the sunbeds where the worst I've ever used so stretched was the fabric that you could feel the slats underneath everyone was complaining. Entertainment was abysmal only on Tuesday Thursday and Sunday but wasn't worth staying in for. I have stayed in a lot of Blue Sea hotels all over Spain and the Islands but would never return to this one.     Currently staying at the Bluesea Dom Jaime apartments in Mallorca and honestly… don’t believe some of the negative reviews 😅I’m usually the FIRST person to complain if somewhere’s bad and I genuinely can’t find fault here.The apartments are lovely, clean and spacious, the all inclusive food has been really good with loads of choice even for fussy eaters, and the snack bar being available all day is such a bonus.But the biggest thing? The staff. Absolutely brilliant. Friendly, hardworking and always helpful — they honestly make the place.Yes, they could probably do with a few more sunbeds, but the layout works fine. Half the problem is people putting towels down then disappearing for hours 🙃A few helpful tips for future travellers:✈️ The transfer is around 2 hours so definitely pack drinks/snacks for the coach if travelling with kids🏖 Don’t just stay by the pool — the beach is gorgeous and only a short walk away🛍 The high street has loads of little shops, bars and places to eat so it’s worth exploring at night⛵ There are boat trips nearby and they’re definitely worth doing if you want to see more of the coastline and cavesEntertainment was good too especially the dancing phone spin machine 🫶Little extras to know:🔑 Safety deposit box is €4 a day🏖 Beach towel deposit is €20 but you get it backOverall we’ve had a genuinely lovely stay and would happily come back ☀️ Hotel Manager, Owner at BLUESEA Don Jaime, responded to this review Dear Donna,Thank you very much for your feedback.It’s wonderful to hear your stay at BLUESEA Don Jaime left such a positive impression.We’re thrilled you found our accommodations comfortable and enjoyed the variety of dining options.     I stayed here for 4 nights with just me and my 3 children well I can honestly say it's definitely not worth staying all-inclusive it's not worth it unless your staying in the other hotel on the beach blue sea the food doesn't do much of a variety and the drinks are rubbish there's never no juice in the machine and coffee tastes like hot chocolate on our last day we were leaving at 4 am so me and my children thought we would be able to use the dinning room to grab a drink before we got on the coach for a 2 hour journey to the airport so my daughter asked the lady on the reception if she could use the dinning room to get a drink and her reply was so rude she looked at my daughter disgusted and replied No it's closed so my daughter asked again and she mumbled something and she said CLOSED so she watched us go to vending machine and they don't do hot drinks and we had to grab a bottle of water then wait around for 30 mins so we went and stood outside then a lady a man came down to reception and I could see through the glass she took them to the dinning room so I went back into her and said I thought it was closed and that woman watched me and my 3 children standing outside disgusting I was all-inclusive she shouldn't be working there avoided at all cost Hotel Manager, Owner at BLUESEA Don Jaime, responded to this review Dear Guest, Thank you for letting us know about your concerns.We apologize for the service inconsistencies and dining experience that impacted your stay.     Great location, friendly staff..good food and a very reasonable price although I was in a room on my own and had to pay a lot more, but I would definitely recommend this hotel.
