  Good hotel but food needs to be better for veggies!

  Location was great and we had a lovely room. The people were very friendly. The only issue I had was that food labels were wrong and didn’t state ingredients. I am a vegetarian and ate meat twice by accident. It said tomato pasta for example but then there was small meat pieces in the pasta. It said vegetable bake or something and it was fish and when I spoke to them it said the label wasn’t in the correct place.   I would just like to take a moment to leave a review for our stay at BLUESEA Cases D’orWe came as a group of six friends and have thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay and we would definitely return.The staff have been so polite and helpful. They go the extra mile to make sure you are happy. From the reception team, the restaurant team, the bar staff and the entertainment team, everyone has been happy, friendly and welcoming the entire time. Asilli was superb, he helped us to keep our room for longer on the final day as we had a late flight home and he was so lovely. You could tell he really cared about our experience and we are so happy.The rooms are a little bit dated, but very clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and we all slept well. The only negatives would be that the towels are small and look old, and the noise from the rooms nearby was quite loud so it was easy to be disturbed by neighbouring guests. The rooms we had all faced the pool area which was really nice, beautiful view! One of our rooms was on the ground floor and we could walk from the terrace straight to the pool which was excellent.The food was superb the entire stay. Every day the food was well varied and the options were great. We left every meal feeling content and full. The drinks were superb as well. San Miguel on draught was excellent as we all like it. We would have liked the option of Cava or Prosecco as we like to drink them. It would be good for this to be added to the offering.The location of the hotel is absolutely excellent. Being right next to Egos Beach Club and Cala Egos strip was brilliant as we didn't have to walk far to anywhere at all. Even the Marina was close enough to walk. The pool for Ses Cases D'or was beautiful too. It is conveniently situated at the back next to the apartments and remained quiet as only the apartment guests knew it was there. We never had an issue getting sun loungers or parasols and it was lovely.We loved having our photos taken by Photo Venesia, Simone was great and we had such a laugh having them taken. We have great memories to take away and we appreciate it.Thank you again to the BLUESEA team for our amazing stay, it was genuinely 5/5.We look forward to coming back soon!   A brilliant few days

  I was so worried due to bad reviews, but I needn’t have been. I stayed with my friend for a few days celebrating my birthday. Honest review. Pros - friendly staff, huge apartment with a huge balcony and comfy bed, 3 pools and always lots of sunbeds, food available at most times during the day, the buffet was varied and fish/meat etc cooked freshly infront of you. We thought the all inclusive was really good. Entertainment was good, not that we joined in, but was lively and fun. Able to get our room until 6pm for €35. Great location, near a lovely beach, marina, fort and a good selection of shops and restaurants. Cons - room smelt a little musty, bathroom was a bit outdated, main pool area needed a little update.   Sickening smell of sewage in room - really awful!!

  This hotel needs a lot of attention and reception staff require training. I notice on the previous reviews there is an apologetic response from the hotel to the reviews. I shouldn’t bother replying to this one as your responses are meaningless- the problems are repeated over and over - so this is just an admin standard response. When we spoke to you about the issues you literally didn’t care or respond appropriately - you certainly didn’t address them! I’ve detailed the areas to break it down a bit but basically if you haven’t booked yet don’t bother. This hotel needs to inspected and the star rating checked and verified. The smell of sewage in the room was repulsive at best!! It really spoilt our experience. There are two single beds in the double room and an old kitchen area. At checking out I again said about the smell and we said (again) we hadn’t received a kettle and the response from the receptionist (M)was ‘don’t hate me’. Arrival and room:We stayed here last week. On arrival we were given our room key. We went to the room and there was music blasting from the small pool area. We went back to reception area and asked (if possible) to move to a quieter room. One of the receptionists (M) was very condescending and quite frankly rude. She basically laughed at us saying this is Majorca. We explained we had been before and stayed in Portocolom and had enjoyed a holiday without the noise. She sniggered and basically said that you get what you pay for. She said there were no other rooms- which I don’t think was true. We accepted it and went back to unpack. When we opened the door the smell of sewage was unbelievable! The room itself was old with cracks in the bath. We reported the smell and asked for someone to look it at. We also said there was no kettle. Basically they don’t care about the customer experience - nobody checked the sewage smell as far as we are aware as it was with us the whole time. We went to the supermarket and bought lots of odour control items that didn’t touch the putrid stink. We paid through a holiday broker other wise we would have left. No kettle ever turned up! There was an army of ants marching across the balcony and if you sat out there they would go over your feet and up your legs! There is lots of foliage so it is to be expected to an extent but there seems no attempt at controlling them l- despite the empty response from the management to the review comments saying there is a system in place. I thought it was blood in the bath but the bath is old and cracked and I think the marks are cracks - I showered in flip flops. Food:The food is served at the all inclusive restaurant. To be honest, for the money it’s fine. Don’t expect 4 star - it’s not in my opinion. It’s a bit school dinner/hospital canteen vibes. There are variations and you can get drinks on tap. The clearing staff work so hard!! Thank you to this team. Entertainment :The entertainment team are lovely and try so hard. They made up their own shows. The effort was great! There was an act booked in that were really excellent. It would be a huge upgrade to book an act each night. There is a children’s disco every night before the entertainment which everyone has to attend if they sit in the bar/patio area. Bar Staff, restaurant & kitchen staff really excellent- thank you!!   Awful Service, Overpriced, and an All-Inclusive Bug Safari

  We arrived at 3 am, bleary eyed, only to discover our first “welcome amenity” a cricket the size of a small pet lounging on our bed. We didn’t complain, partly because it was the middle of the night, partly because we weren’t sure it hadn’t paid for the room before us.Sunbeds? Don’t bother. Unless you’re up before the sunrise and the early rising towel mafia you’ll be lying on the floor. Staff? Let’s just say customer service training appears to have been outsourced to a drill sergeant even booking a taxi came with a barked order to “sit down.”On our last day (yes, my fault for not booking the last night), reception first told us there were no rooms left. Thirty minutes later, magically, there was one if we paid €190. This became a non optional fee after being told the hotel was full, and with zero goodwill, we had no choice but to hand over the ransom money to keep a roof over our heads.Back in the room, we found yet another “guest” a dead cricket like bug, surrounded by a marching army of ants pouring out of a wall socket. Someone came to deal with it and sprayed something so toxic it could have doubled as paint stripper. Moments later, I was summoned to reception and accused of not paying for the €190 night I had literally just paid for. Only after waving the receipt under their nose did they begrudgingly concede.No apology for the bugs, the attitude, or the chaos. If you like paying premium rates for insect encounters, hostile service, and surprise charges this is the place for you. I’ll be holidaying elsewhere.
