    We stayed at Brondo Architect Hotel from 22–25 March 2026 in room 621 Walter as part of a belated 40th birthday trip. While the hotel is well located in Palma’s old town and some areas such as the roof terrace and balcony/day bed were pleasant, overall the experience fell well below what we expected from a hotel advertised as 4-star accommodation at over €260 per night.The main issue was the complete lack of hot water on the morning of 24 March. We reported this at around 08:15 and were advised it would be resolved quickly, however the water did not become even barely warm until approximately 11:15. This significantly disrupted our day and prevented us from leaving as planned. We were also told the issue affected multiple rooms.The room itself appeared stylish at first glance but, on closer inspection, had numerous maintenance and finishing issues including poor repair work, exposed TV cables, poor paint/masking, a hole near the skirting board and a toilet roll holder fitted incorrectly. The shower was also poorly designed, causing water to flood onto the bathroom floor during every use. There was visible water damage to the wall which suggested this was an ongoing issue.Noise insulation was very poor. We could clearly hear neighbouring guests, corridor doors locking/unlocking and noise from the restaurant below late into the evening, which impacted sleep quality.We also felt the room did not fully match the marketing images shown when booking.The most disappointing aspect, however, was the lack of response afterward. I contacted the hotel directly following our stay and sent multiple follow-ups but received no substantive reply. Booking.com also advised they were unable to obtain a response from the hotel.Overall, while the location is excellent and the concept has potential, the experience did not reflect the quality or standard expected for the price

    What a gem of a hotel.

    What a dream hotel. Very central but quiet as down a little alley. Very quirky and just loved the Art Work. Spotless. Staff so polite especially Mauricio who went the extra mile. Bed super comfortable great shower. Lovely breakfast. Special attention to detail a lovely hand written welcome note with a full size bottle of cava in our room on arrival. Couldn't find fault. Will definitely revisit.

    Prerfect Hotel to explore Palma

    What a beautiful hotel, perfect location if you want to explore Palma. The rooms were spacious and loved the old charm they had. Breakfast included that was just perfect to start the day. I would highly recommend and would be back in a heartbeat.

    Warning - the room we had looked nothing like the website photos

    Please be aware when booking this hotel that the photographs on the website might bear little resemblance to the room you actually get. Firstly the positives:The location of the hotel is great, really central in the old town and in amongst all the amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good - good quality, fresh and plentiful. However when it came to our room we were disappointed to say the least. It was very dark (not like the light and airy photographs as on the website) We paid for a premium room and we were promised Welcome drink, slippers, bathrobes and a mini bar. We received none of those. There was a large red Smeg fridge in the corner of the room which was welcome for cooling our water but a little over the top we thought. There was absolutely nowhere to sit in the room apart from the bed and a hard wooden bench. The wardrobe facility was a cupboard on wheels (which also housed the safe) with one drawer within it - and enough room to hang 6 garments. When we arrived we found that one of the bedside lamps wasn’t working. We told Reception and we were told it was an old lamp and to ‘move the wires around a bit’ and then it would work! The wires were exposed in the cable. Also the shower head was leaking badly which they did fix the following day. The quality of the tiling and paintwork in the shower area was shoddy to say the least. The toilet was in a cubicle with a door but the walls were open at the top which did not allow any privacy. However despite this we found the cleanliness to be good. I regret not doing our due diligence as looking back at the reviews there are several warning of exactly what we experienced. I suggest if you want to book this hotel get the hotel to provide photos of the room you’re booking beforehand.
