Located directly beside the sea and close to the town centre (Cala Millor is around 1 km away), this beach, apartment, spa and conference hotel is situated right in the tourist centre, within in the area of Cala Bona. The beach, numerous shops, various bars and restaurants, nightclubs as well as well as public transport are also in the hotel's vicinity. The hotel is situated on Paseo de Maritim de Cala Bona main road.

    Don't waste your money on the 1 star hotel

    We go on a lot of holidays but this hotel is by far the worst hotel that we have ever stayed in. Booked with On The Beach who sold this as a four star hotel. We would give it 0 stars. Rock hard beds. Ants our room. A broken shower arm. Broken safe. TV that you have to pay wi-fi for after spending thousands for the holiday. Inedible food (including mussels with hotdogs in the same dish, salad covered in thick sauces so that you cannotsee the quality of the food beneath, Brussels sprouts, people cutting the bread by hand so that you were cutting a slice that the last person had touched. This 'restaurant' had one toaster that there was a long queue for. There are dead flies in all the glass lights above the tables) There were missing tiles in the pool. There was one night of entertainment which was so bad that only 2 people were watching it. We spent thousands on eating out so be prepared to take lots of money. Thank God for the sofas in the front room because they were our beds for the duration of our stay. The only mirror that had a socket anywhere near it was in the bathroom so prepare to get electrocuted when straightening your hair ladies. However, there was a plug socket up the top of the wall in the sitting room. We are still trying to decide its use! The balcony was full of bird excrement. We believe that the hotel is being renovated next year. It shouldn't be advertised as a four star hotel until then. The place is abysmal. Thank God for Stanley's or we would have starved. We will never return to this hotel, or recommend it to anyone.

    A return to Cala Bona after over 25 years.

    First stay at Cabot Cap de Mar in Cala Bona. Location was great right in the heart of the resort. The room suite in block 3 44 was okay , comfy beds , great shower etc. Bit of a sea view. Lovely roof top sun terrace.However there were several disappointing aspects of the hotel which results in us not returning to this hotel.Restaurant situated downstairs in the basement, no atmosphere and waitresses were surly. A nice inviting Swimming pool but was always in the shade and was very cold , saw only 1 person use it over our weeks stay. The spa was situated downstairs small pool and uninviting very hot and humid.No evening entertainment or atmosphere in the hotel bar , possibly due to the extensive selection of bars and restaurants outside the hotel.The hotel was clean , modern reception and bar , room was cleaned daily. Reception staff always helpful.Room was adequate needed a refurbishment. We loved the resort easy walking both ways to the port in Cala bona and Cala Miller. Great for motability. If your looking for an adequate hotel with a great location then yes. However not for us I'm afraid, but would return to Cala Bona.     Cabot Camp de mar family break

    A family break at Cabot camp de mar, Cala Bona Majorca definitely exceeded our expectations. After checkin rooms were as requested 2 pool view, 1 sea view. The rooms consisted of a bedroom/ bathroom ( walk in shower ), & a spacious living area. This could accommodate 2 more persons if required. The hotel was pretty quiet the first few days, however the guest numbers steadily increased as the week progressed. The outdoor pool while spotless clean was very little used as there was a slight breeze daily & despite the 25c temperature, it was too cold on entry & exit. The Cabots in door pool / spa was our daily go towhich was really enjoyed by grandchildren & adults alike. Sauna, steam room, & jacuzzi, & spa treatments completed the package. We only had breakfast in our package, and this was of excellent quality & quantity. Eggs cooked to order, cold & hot offerings etc. A premium location on the sea front / promenade with shops restaurants, bars all easily reached was again a plus. Alessandro was so busy in the dining room / bar I do really think he has an identical twin as he kept popping up all the time. Reception staff were always helpful requesting taxis, change for pool table & advice on all aspects of the hotel. Our verdict on Cabot camp de mar scores a 10 out of 10 & a return is likely if we visit Cala Bona in future.     This hotel has positives and negatives. It was clean, staff friendly ,quiet in September and no problems getting a sunbed. We had a fridge in room which was ground floor next to pool so excellent for us to relax and get our own beers. Lovely coffee machine in room BUT you had to buy pods from reception! Safe in room very expensive and no deposit refund. Advertised as a 4 star hotel these little things should be included!Air con useless never worked and neither did TV. Think hotel mostly German and only one English news channel which had no signal!We were only B&B and breakfast good but no signs on food for vegetarian or allergies! Dangerous!! Plenty of lovely restaurants nearby so no need for other meals. Pool clean but small. Roof top pool small also. No good if you had children no slides etc. Entertainment only Friday and Tuesday maybe more in high season but September is still fairly popular for holidays. Barman is invisible!! Several times we had to go hunting for him and ask at reception! Hotel is well positioned on the promenade, central and close to everything. Would we stay again? Probably not unless price reduced to reflect facilities.     Just came back today after spending three nights at this hotel. I will try to be balanced. Firstly the hotel is clean, well located and most of the staff were helpful. Now for the things that were not so good. Was staying half board. Thank goodness we were able to eat out as the food was horrendous. I don’t just mean taste. It was barely warm, no labels to tell you what you were eating. I raised this as a concern for people who are vegan, vegetarian or those who have allergies. When it was raised they did what they do best pretended they did not understand that k was saying. This is a serious health risk. Also if you do attempt the restaurant make sure you sit down near the bar area or good luck getting a drink. I’m sure for some people it would be ok and I know you can’t please all of the people all of the time. But this was def not for me and would air on the side of precaution before you book this hotel. We booked a suite with a sea view. The view was a good view. But to be described as a suite no way. The rooms need a facelift. Wobbly wall sockets and twin beds that just separated when you moved.
