    Lovely but lonely

    rating26 Mar 2026

These are fantastic apartments . Big modern in lovely grounds. They have everything you need in them but sadly no service or staff when we were staying . Yes it was out of season so we knew no cleaners. This wasn't a problem for us.But arrived 8 pm nobody on reception to let us in. So had to ring a telephone number on the door. We were given a key code to get our door key . Sadly that room hadn't been cleaned. So we rang the number again and got another key code to another room and a upgrade to a roof terrace room. So this softened the lack of staff. The apartment was fabulous. But didn't see any staff till 3 days later. To change towels and pay tourist tax.No staff to be seen when we checked out either at 7pm.We are quite independent but not everyone is or so easy going. .Sorry felt I had to right this as the apartment are gorgeous. But no staff not great.Had big lists of gorgeous sounding cocktails but nobody there to make me one. .Would go back but not out of season.

    Disappointed

    rating17 Dec 2025

Average accommodation. Small studios with tightest small spiral staircase to access roof terrace that we paid extra for. Jacuzzi filthy & not cleaned in the whole 10 nights stay.Noisy road. Rude receptionist (Aina)Puerto Pollensa is beautiful & there are some far better places to stay. Equipo Cabot Hotels, Owner at Cabot Las Velas Apartments, responded to this review Dear Ellie,Thank you for your feedback. However, I must respectfully disagree with your comment about the jacuzzi being filthy. Our cleaning staff works very hard, especially in the heat, to ensure the property is clean and comfortable for our guests. It’s disheartening to hear this impression, as they take great pride in their work.As for your mention of Aina, we’re surprised to hear this as she is one of our most dedicated and kind receptionists. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding due to a language barrier? We always aim to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable. We’re sorry that the accommodation and your experience didn’t meet your expectations, and we appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us.Merry Christmas,Elena

    Not great.

    rating05 Nov 2025

We, a couple in our 70s arrived after midnight after being dropped off by our Jet2 coach. The man on reception requested a fee of 41.26euro which I think is for the tourist tax - fair enough but I can’t see how this equates to a seven night stay beginning 26/10? He then showed us to our room. Our accommodation on the ground floor was nice with a lovely terrace with a jacuzzi and table and chairs with a couple of deck chairs overlooking the pool. The bed was very comfortable with nice bedding but it was very cold. Next day we complained to Aina the receptionist who advised us to turn off the air con. We did this but still cold and very noisy. We would have slept so much better without the cold and the noise. I requested some additional bedding and was provided with another duvet but also some manky blankets which I would not have on the bed. The water in the apartment was however lovely and hot and the shower was good, and when our kettle blew up they quickly replaced it. We also felt the road was too noisy but nothing can be done about that. It would have been great to have a small milk and some water in the fridge as arriving after midnight we were desperate for a cup of tea. On the last day we discovered our key had stopped working and were unable to access our room. As the apartments had closed for the season this was very worrying but was sorted out by a phone call to the nearby Cabot Hotel. The lady we spoke to there informed us we should have left at 11.00 am. I don’t know where we were supposed to go as we were being picked up THERE at 6.00pm. Our towels and bed linenwere changed only once during our stay. Equipo Cabot Hotels, Owner at Cabot Las Velas Apartments, responded to this review Dear Jenni,Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the terrace, jacuzzi, and the comfort of the bed during your stay.We appreciate your comments on the tourist tax, and we will make sure to review the details for better clarity in the future. We also understand that the room temperature and noise were disruptive to your sleep, and we’ll consider ways to improve the comfort in our rooms.Your suggestion about having a small milk and water in the fridge for late arrivals is a great one, and we’ll look into adding that for convenience. As for the issue with the key and the check-out time, we’ll ensure that our communication is clearer moving forward to avoid any confusion. Thanks again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.Best regards,Elena Sinteanu

    Excellent apartments

    rating04 Oct 2025

First time at Las Vellas. We had a deluxe one bedroom apartment with roof terrace. This was perfect for us , the terrace was fantastic , really big , the fridge very useful, sunbeds , so we didn’t need to go to the pool, with parasol too which was important in the hot sun.The pools were very quiet no problem with getting a sunbed if yiu love the pool. The apartments are plenty big enough for two, very clean with additional balcony from the dining area.Shower gel and a small cleaning pack with cloth, pan scrub and liquid also very useful.Cleaning once every three days, which wasn’t a problem although would have preferred every two days.Towels changed on cleaning which was fine, you could request new ones at reception , I would have hoped for clean tea towels too but that didn’t happen, so a tip take your own tea towels, we do so were ok. Puerta Pollensa is a beautiful resort with so many lovely bars and restaurants, lovely walks too. We will definitely want to return next year Equipo Cabot Hotels, Owner at Cabot Las Velas Apartments, responded to this review Dear Catheryn,Thank you so much for your lovely and thoughtful review — it truly means a lot to us! We are all so happy to hear that your first stay at Las Velas was such a positive experience and that the deluxe apartment with the roof terrace suited you perfectly. It sounds like you made the most of the space and the sunshine!Your comments about the cleanliness, amenities, and peaceful pool area are much appreciated, and we are glad that you found everything comfortable and convenient for your stay. Thank you also for the helpful tip about the tea towels — we’ll certainly take that into account as we look at how we can continue to improve. It is wonderful to know you enjoyed Puerto Pollensa and that you're already thinking about coming back — we would be absolutely delighted to welcome you again next year!Warm regards,Elena Sinteanu

    Lovely Las Velas

    rating02 Oct 2025

Such a lovely place, we stayed in a deluxe apt with rooftop sun beds and jacuzzi bath, there was also a fridge up there. The room was big for a couple and looked brand new in the room and surrounding areas inc pools. The staff were so kind and friendly. The cleaners although only come every 3 days do a brilliant job and nice clean sheets and towels. The area has some local bars and supermarkets and it’s a 20min walk along the prom to the main square and pine walk. The beach at this end seems larger but didn’t use it. Only two wee suggestion one is to have a retractable drying rack on the balcony which would save people hanging towels over the glass balcony. Lastly to supply a dish washing brush and a small bottle of washing up liquid. Equipo Cabot Hotels, Owner at Cabot Las Velas Apartments, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for your detailed feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay in the deluxe apartment and appreciated the rooftop features, spacious layout, and overall condition of the facilities. It's also great to hear the team made a positive impression and that the cleaning service met your expectations. Your suggestions about the drying rack and washing-up items are practical and noted — these kinds of details help us improve the guest experience further.Kind regards,Elena Sinteanu
