Location

This hotel is located on the pedestrian zone of Balneario 4 in Playa de Palma. It is only a few steps from the sea and a bus stop (buses travelling in the direction of Palma every ten minutes). The harbour is just 15 minutes away from the hotel. Palma Mallorca airport lies some 4 km from the hotel.

The hotel has 7 single rooms and 47 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     I have been going to Playa Grande for years and have never been disappointed; the staff is friendly and helpful, and they try to fulfill every wish.     Excellent hotel in Cabo and I highly recommend it!

    I love the customer service at this hotel. When you first arrive the concierge Hugo and Eddie tell you"welcome home" this sets the tone for the kind of service that we received for the week. Every time you thank someone they respond to you with "my pleasure"! Miriam and Daniel provided the best customer service by the pool. They anticipated our every need and made our poolside service phenomenal. Hugo the concierge recommended the sunset dinner cruise Caborey. We asked if Caborey provided a wheelchair and Hugo offered to give us a wheelchair to take with us to the marina. This is exemplary customer service. The only thing that I recommend that would really help would be to buy a bigger wheelchair for your customers of size to use so that way everyone can use the bigger wheelchair and more customers are able to take advantage of it. Eddie also had great problem solving skills when we were not satisfied with our Los Cabos tour with Panchito Tours. Overall i loved this hotel and would definitely recommend it to other people.

    Clean Budget Hotel - Great Location

    Nice basic and clean hotel. Half a block from the beach and the bus stop where you can take the bus to go to Palma. The staff was very friendly. Great value for your money. The only negatives are that the WiFi is only available in the lobby (spotty signal) and that the rooms have no TV or air-conditioning. Playa de Palma is the German area so 90% of the people are German. Most places cater to them but everybody speaks English. I would definitively stay there again and recommend it to people.

    This is common in Spain: you book a room with a double bed, the hotel confirms it and then, when you open the door, you see two single beds. It is common, but it annoys me every time. The room was not in perfect conditions, but it was ok if compared to the price. The hotel is very close to the beach, so you can enjoy your stay (if you like to lay down for hours). If you aim to visit different places around the island, it is still ok, but you can find better solutions. In the end, it was not bad, but nothing special. If will come back to Mallorca I will choose a different solution, also because everything in Platja de Palma seems set too much to Germans.

    Clean Budget Hotel

    Short 4 night break beginning of Oct with friends. On the upside Hotel was spotlessly clean and a decent continental breakfast served from 8.00 to 10.00. Sheets and towels changed every day. However, please be aware that this doesn't have air con or a TV in the room and it doesn't have a pool. Rooms over the reception and bar area can be very noisy in the evening much of which comes from the bar next door. Its very close to the very nice beach and the cafes/bars on the sea front. Hiring sunbeds etc is very expensive, 2 beds and a parasol is over 15 euro's.I am probably stating the obvious but Arenal is the German part of the Island and that is who the majority of bars etc cater for. We didn't have any problems in finding decent places to eat and drink but please be careful when ordering rounds of drinks, beer can range from over 5 to under 3 so get a bill or pay for your first drinks before ordering the next! Weather was very warm about 26-28c through the day with some clouding at times. T shirts were fine on an evening although it could get nippy. "Lookie Lookie" guys are a bit of a pest but most back off at the first no thanks! A decent, cheap break but I wouldn't take the missus.
