  The worst experience in Mallorca

  My stay from 15/10/25 to 20/10/25. Although the hotel is acceptable, it has no elevator, in the notice it says, neither air conditioning nor TV in the rooms. It has no living room, only a small smoking patio or the street. Pretty poor for Mallorca. The worst part was that its owner, Antonia, charged me 11 euros in "tourism tax" without a corresponding legal receipt. He put 11 bucks in his undeclared pocket. I asked him for an official receipt and to the unhinged screams he told me that if I did not want to pay (in black) to leave the hotel, that he would not return the money of the lodging. I shut up and gave Dona Antonia 11 euros. A pretty caveman attitude on the part of the lady. Point apart breakfast, just very very, but very poor. Poor thing I'd say.   A lovely hotel, exceptionally clean and extremely well situated.

  Always a warm welcome at this lovely hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the hotel is very well situated, a couple of minutes from the harbour, shops and restaurants. It is also great value for money. We have stayed there three times and would happily stay there again.

  We spent a few days on the island and they were charming, always willing to improve our stay! For the category much better than we expected!100% recommended, thank you for everything and if we return to the island we will choose it again!   Missing jewels from locked safe

  We spent 4 days in Can Gallu, which is at a very good location and the place itself is simple, but very nice.The problem started when we realized that many of our jewels STORED IN THE SAFE IN OUR ROOM, THE SAFE LOCKED WITH KEY (of which we found out later that there are 3 copies) were missing.We reported the case at the police but also asked the help of the owners of the hostal who live there.Reactions of the owners were:- there is no camera system- there is only one copy of the key to the safe, they later admitted that there were 3 existing copies- we stole the jewels from each other to sell it later on (we are two girls, and both are missing valuable pieces since our stay at the hostal)- we dared to ask if they had insurance to which their answer was that we only wanted money of them even when we said that we would pay for the jewels to get them back- these situations may happen in our country but not in Mallorca- they do not take any responsabilities for what happenedSo, even if the experience started very well, because also, the owners seemed to be extremely nice persons, I do not recommend to stay here at all, after showing no willingness to help or solve the situation that happened in their property.
