    Typically good stay, but room 120's a clinker

    Typical good to excellent Homewood Suites experience, with only 1 exception. Suggest you avoid room 120 unless you prefer a view only of a commercial a/c unit. We thought we'd enjoy being able to see our car parked in the lot outside our windows, but instead could only see the enclosed monster hvac system and watch as its filters were being serviced. Ick.     Making the reservation was easy, check in was even easier. Everyone was courteous and friendly. It would have been nice to have been told from check in that there was more convenient parking , closer to our room. The girl at check in said "right around the corner" this turned into all the way across to the back of the building. Minor, except for my 91 year old mother who was completely out of breath by the time we got to the room. Breakfast had a nice assortment, except that the eggs were lukewarm. The room had not been vacuumed, as there were cheerios on the floor in a couple of different spots. The door did not seal, light from the hall could be seen all around. Dishes were in the dishwasher, couldn't tell if they were clean or dirty. The bathroom/shower was clean. Overall a decent stay.     Sheets dont fit beds

    The bedding was awful. What appeared to be full size sheets stretched onto queen size beds. Barely covered 1/2 the mattress depth. Mattress pad with holes on the sides from being pulledDirty carpet and worn kitchen flooring.     We stayed for 1 night while traveling along I-75. We arrived fairly late and our room was ready. It was clean and well maintained. We appreciated bar soap, not just the bottles of "goo." There's a pretty decent fitness center and a nice looking pool.     Exceptional staff consisting of Angie, Seth Kierra. Rooms were great and breakfast was super and fresh. Hotel was clean and convenient for shopping and restaurants. The staff went out of the way to make everyone feel welcome. VIP treatment all the way.
