Location

The country house is located in the historic town of Alcudia in the north of Mallorca between the beautiful bays of Alcudia and Pollenca.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1850. Guests have a choice of 7 double rooms. English-speaking staff are happy to assist and advise. Services and facilities include a baggage storage service, a safe, a car hire service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a smoke alarm.     Ok but so noisy

    Initially the room was very impressive. BUT - the noise!!! from the street and from the restaurant - so loud. As well the room above us - whoever you are - please stop moving furniture and dropping things all night long. TV reception only in German and Spanish. There were no amenities and the pictures on the site are very misleading.The position was great - but on investigation - any position in the old town is great.

    We spent five days here to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday.Lovely little room with an enormous bathroom. Although we were out of season we still enjoyed ourselves blending in with the locals. Breakfast was served in the restaurant next door.

    We had to find somewhere to stay last minute which was affordable so picked this place. It is centrally located in the Old Town and we stayed in what i assume is the cheapest room. The room on first impressions was quite cute for the price but the bathroom was the smallest we have ever seen. The toiletries were half empty where the previous people had stayed and the shower knob fell off when using it. The bed was comfy but the aircon is really loud and the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything outside your room.

    Literally an en suite room

    This is literally an en suite room with nowhere to sit out and enjoy the atmosphere of the old town. The pictures are misleading as it looks as though there is an outdoor area. This is actually a nearby restaurant where breakfast is served. There is no plunge pool (misleading advertising as it is apparently in a bedroom), inflated prices on arrival and rude and unhelpful receptionist (in another hotel). Location is excellent and thankfully the Old Town is beautiful.

    Me and my girlfriend we spent a weekend in the very beautiful village of Alcudia late in August this year. We spent two night at Can Simo Hotel and we're very sorry to write about a very unpleasant experience we had. The room was ok, traditional and fully equipped but we found out that our room was not located on the Hotel main building but in a sort of dependence accessible from a terrace over a terrace restaurant with people having dinner and moreover with a grill spreading all his smoke on a side of the room with the consequent smell of burnt food.Despite this little issues probably related to very high season, the unacceptable thing has been waking up in the morning with a very big black cockroach on our bed pillow next to my girlfriend's head. Once we found it out and killed it we obviously reported what happened to the reception lady who basically told us "we're very sorry, it's something difficult to solve". We didn't get any kind of refund, any additional service or some other thing for something we consider unacceptable when you sleep in a nice island such as Mallorca in a pretentious and expensive petit hotel. An unfortunate situation might happen but receiving no support or apology is not acceptable for the full price of the room.
