Hotel is falsely advertised, staff members are rude & would never recommend.

    rating18 May 2026

We are extremely disappointed with our experience at Caramelo Calvia Beach - Adults Only (21+).We booked this hotel for a special 30th birthday trip, and the entire experience was completely ruined from the moment we arrived. We originally booked this hotel specifically because the room was advertised as having a private swim-up pool on the balcony. After booking, we later discovered this was falsely advertised. I first contacted the hotel in November regarding this issue and did not receive a helpful or reassuring response. I then emailed again a week before our holiday due to ongoing concerns. To make matters even worse, two days before we were due to travel, we were informed that our hotel booking may be cancelled. Naturally, this caused huge stress before travelling. I called the hotel directly and was reassured everything was “fine” and that there were no issues with our stay. However, when we arrived at the hotel, it became clear the staff already knew we were not going to be allowed to stay there, yet nobody informed us beforehand. Instead, we travelled all the way there only to be treated horribly at reception. The staff member was rude, dismissive, refused to let us speak to a manager, and showed absolutely no care or empathy for the situation they had caused. Two members of our group were allowed to stay while the other four of us were left without accommodation, despite us all travelling together for the same birthday trip. We had booked separately, yet the hotel grouped us together and handled the situation terribly. We lost an entire day of our holiday trying to sort accommodation because of the hotel’s mistakes and complete lack of organisation. To make the situation even more shocking, after we questioned the false advertising and raised concerns about how we had been treated, we were told we would never be allowed to book at any of their hotels again. Instead of taking accountability for their mistakes, they chose to punish paying customers for speaking up.Being stranded in another country with nowhere to stay because of the hotel’s actions was beyond stressful and completely unacceptable. The communication was awful from start to finish, the customer service was disgraceful, and the false advertising regarding the room was misleading. What should have been a special celebration ended up being stressful, upsetting, and ruined due to the hotel’s lack of honesty, professionalism, and basic customer care.We would never recommend this hotel to anyone based on our experience.

Beautiful modern hotel , excellent location.

    rating03 May 2026

Beautiful hotel and in an excellent location. This was our fourth stay here. The breakfast is delicious with plenty of choice. Fresh fruit, smoothies, pastrys, cooked breakfast, omelette and fresh juice and coffee. Rooms are clean and spacious. We always book the same room on floor 7 to get a Seaview. Unfortunately because Magaluf is a short walking distance away you can get some noise in an evening. Swimming pool area very clean and the drinks are reasonably priced. C Ross, General Manager at Cook’s Club Calvia Beach, responded to this review Dear Paula, Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for choosing to stay with us for the fourth time! We’re delighted to know you continue to enjoy our location, spacious rooms, and especially the sea views from your favourite room on the 7th floor. It’s also fantastic to hear that you enjoyed our breakfast selection and found the pool area clean and welcoming. Your kind words about our team and facilities truly mean a lot to us.We appreciate your understanding regarding the occasional evening noise due to our proximity to Magaluf. We always do our best to ensure our guests have a comfortable and relaxing stay.We look forward to welcoming you back again very soon for your fifth visit!Kind regards, María De la CruzGlobales Quality Manager

Stunning hotel, great location, amazing staff!

    rating18 Jan 2026

Second time visiting this hotel, great location, great food, great cocktails, hotel is stunning and staff are always so friendly. It’s the perfect balance of being close to the bars and nightlife, but also not so close it keeps you up all night. Highly recommend visiting some of the restaurants on the beach front, Calvia Beach House and The Blue Bar are personal favourites. There’s also hours of entertainment sat listening to people go up on the slingshot too whilst enjoying a drink out on the terrace of the hotel. This hotel hasn’t disappointed yet, will definitely be coming back! C Ross, General Manager at Cook’s Club Calvia Beach, responded to this review Dear Emily,Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your second visit with us was just as enjoyable as the first. It’s fantastic to know you loved our location, food, cocktails, and that our team made you feel so welcome. We’re glad you enjoyed the balance of being close to the nightlife while still being able to relax, and that you got to experience some of the beachfront restaurants and terrace entertainment. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for another unforgettable stay!Warm regards,Guest Relations Manager

    Nice hotel

    rating16 Oct 2025

We have just returned from 7 days staying at this hotel, and it was a nice hotelThe hotel itself is beautiful, very well kept, the pool area was clean. The rooms were very clean and spacious enough. Something to bear in mind is the hotel is situated at the top of a steep hill so may not be ideal for people who may have difficulty in walking. Also if it has been raining the tiles are extremely slippy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Especially all the restaurant staff, they were always happy to help. The breakfast was lovely, a lot of options including a smoothie bar. The only issue we found was, the door to the balcony, when it was ‘locked shut’ it wasn’t shut tight, and it still opened slightly. This was an issue when it was 3am and trying to get sleep. The hotel is right next to Magaluf strip as well as the Magaluf catapult, so trying to sleep when the noise of outside was carrying through proved extremely difficult. Also if you have rowdy neighbours who sit on the balcony laughing and shouting at 3am, you might as well be sat next to them due to how much the noise carried through the balcony door. Following on from the rowdy neighbours, I have to say we did have to ring reception to complain about the noise and the staff were straight up and sorted the issue out with the people next door which we were extremely pleased with. The hotel is situated closer to Magaluf, so it can be noisy in the area. Considering we went at the end of the season in October there was still a lot of noise. This is probably our fault for not researching the area enough before booking. But the hotel is only a short walk to Palma nova, with some great restaurants. I’d recommend Iroko in Palmanova and Blackbeards Magaluf. C Ross, Director General at Cook’s Club Calvia Beach, responded to this review Dear HRsamm,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback following your 7-night stay with us. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the cleanliness of our rooms, the pool area, and the overall look of the hotel. It’s also wonderful to know that our team, especially the restaurant staff, made a positive impression with their friendly and helpful service. Your kind words will certainly be passed on to them.We appreciate you highlighting the variety at breakfast and we’re glad you enjoyed the smoothie bar.Regarding the points you mentioned, thank you for sharing your honest observations. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the balcony door and the external noise at night. We understand how important a good night’s sleep is and we will make sure our maintenance team checks the balcony doors to ensure they close properly. We are also pleased to hear that our reception team handled the noise issue from neighbouring guests promptly and effectively. As you mentioned, our location close to Magaluf offers great access to local attractions and nightlife, but this can sometimes mean a livelier atmosphere in the surrounding area. For future stays, we would be happy to allocate a quieter room upon request, subject to availability.Thank you again for your review and for your restaurant recommendations for future guests – always appreciated! We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future,Warm regards,C.RossGuest Experience Manager

Fantastic Relaxing Stay With a Great Atmosphere – Would Return!

    rating13 Oct 2025

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week at the end of September and had a brilliant experience. Our room was lovely and spotless, with housekeeping changing sheets and towels daily. There’s a mini fridge, and you can hire pool towels for a €10 deposit which was handy. Our balcony didn’t have a sea view, but we enjoyed the mountain views and a bit of people-watching from the neighbouring hotel! The hotel facilities were great – reception is 24/7 and the staff were really helpful and friendly. There’s a luggage storage room for checkout day and even showers you can use before heading to the airport. Inside areas are stylish and relaxing and there's a decent sized gym with a pool view. Your room key is also on a wrist band for each traveller which saves having to remember who has the room key!The pool area had a good but chilled vibe, good music that wasn’t too loud, a pool table, and a lovely pool bar serving great cocktails. Plenty of sunbeds, loungers, and beanbags so we always found somewhere to sit. Breakfast was excellent every morning with loads of choice: fresh eggs, fruit, smoothies, pastries, and hot options. It did get busy at around 9, but the outdoor terrace overlooking the pool made it worth it.The location was excellent – yes, it’s at the top of a hill, but as young travellers we didn’t mind at all. There’s also a gentler slope down to the Magaluf strip which made the walk easier.Overall, a fantastic stay – clean, beautifully decorated, friendly staff, great food and a relaxing but lively atmosphere. Would definitely return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ C Ross, Director General at Cook’s Club Calvia Beach, responded to this review Dear Annabel,Thank you so much for taking the time to share your fantastic review and for choosing to stay with us!
