    DISGUSTING

    rating20 Oct 2019

The WORST and most DISGUSTING holiday I have ever been on. Upon first glance, it seems reasonable and alright, however it soon became quite the opposite. I travelled here with my partner&2 children. The first thing which came to my attention upon my arrival was the lack of a reception, and the fact there was no staff around to greet us. We were respectably confused, wondering how we would enter if there was no staff; after wandering around cluelessly we somehow stumbled upon a box on an outside wall which had a room key in,however it was dark and there was no indication of this exsisting. The lack of reception baffled us, and the fact there was no staff seemed strange and almost peculiar. Anyway, we overlooked this and we’re excited to start our well deserved holiday. As you may have seen, these apartments are advertised as being all inclusive-however I believe this to be false advertising, as the all inclusive is not served here. It is intact served 10/15mins away at another hotel, which is not ideal. There is yet again no indication of this apart from a little sheet of paper placed randomly in the room, which could easily be overlooked - and with no reception/staff this could become an issue for someone who had not discovered the minuscule piece of paper. The next issue was discovered when I tried to use the shower. The shower curtain is not fixed on the wall, therefore comes down with the slightest touch, as does the shower head. I believe this to be dangerous, either could fall on your head and cause an injury without warning. I have seen this issue in many other reviews, it is clear nothing is being done about this despite there being awareness. The most disturbing issue I found was the mass amounts of ants nests which were in the room. We were on the ground floor, but this does not justify the huge amount of ants which were in the room - without exxagerating I’d say there was thousands. They were allover, on the floor of every room and in every nook and cranny. These made the holiday simply unbearable, and we would avoid the apartments until bedtime because of this. The most alarming fact to me is the lack of staff, there is nobody to voice your concerns about, or to turn to for advice. We decided we had had enough therefore contacted our travel agent who we booked through to see if we could be moved, as we found these conditions to be simply disgusting particularly with young children. They said we must proceed to the reception of the hotel where the all inclusive is served - with hope,we did so. At this point we were told they would contact “Phillipe” as they believed it was not they’re problem. He then had the audacity to say he would meet us at reception, knowing fine well that this did not exsist. I am simply infuriated by the service we received, and the lack of professionalism present. I would not dream of returning, and would genuinely advice angody not too. All reviews voice similar concerns,TAKE NOTE OF THEM, I didn’t and I now regret this. I would never return here, it is disgusting. I will be taking further action upon my return home!!! Filthy.

    Budget accomodation

    rating10 Oct 2019

Stayed here October 2019. Booked these apartments because they were very very cheap. we have been to Cala dor before and we love the resort. The beautiful coves and turquoise sea is what attracts us to cala dor.We liked the location of these apartments - near the suma supemarket and on a quiet residential street. With not too far to to walk to the beautiful coves. The rooms were large and spacious. We had 2 comfy beds in the bedroom. The bathroom was very mouldy and had a few tiles missing on the wall - the bathroom ceiling was very damp and the Mosquitos came in and out of the bathroom ceiling - we were badly bitten. We always had mosquitos in the apartment. There were a few light bulbs which did not work in the apartment which would surely be a straight forward maintenance fix. There was a message on the table asking us to leave the majorca tourist tax on the table -which is interesting because you should be exempt from tourist tax when there is not a reception at the accommodation!! I would not return to these apartments because of the obvious Mosquito problem. This is something that does need rectifying. We paid our money - we took a chance. I will return to Cala dor but will look for at alternative accommodation.

Great apartment. Plenty of space. Huge terrace with sun loungers. Nice pool. Very clean. Decor a bit 70s. Don't expect posh but very good budget accommodation. We would definitely return. Very laid back.

    Excellent value apartments

    rating08 Oct 2018

Having read many reviews I was abit intrepid as to what we would fined, but we were extremely surprised, the accommodation was fairly large and was very clean, admittedly it could do with abit of updating, but for the price paid we were more than happy and would definitely book again,as for there being no lighting, there are switches at the bottom of each stair well plus by some doors, also one by the key cabinet, they only stay on so long, also you have to run the taps along time to get the hot water. The apartments are very near to lots of restaurants and bars, less than 10min to nearest beaches. I would say if you are a fussy person don't go ,but if you want a cheap ,good value apartments you cannot go wrong.

    Find Felipe

    rating16 Sept 2018

No reception, no form of contact other than the cleaning lady. No hot water some days, no indication of where to pick the key up. No we could not Find Felipe! And we were not alone. There is one redeeming feature about these outdated apartments - the pool. It is as the picture depicts clean; however there is absolutely nothing to bring me anywhere near here in future. Whoever gave these anything like good rating must have been in either of the TWO apts in the picture. The others are behind and enclosed starring on to each other from 5m away as you open your only door and look directly into your neighbours rooms (and visa versa). We could not Find Felipe to complain about the hole in the bedroom floor. Smashed glazed tiles that would lacerate a foot in the dark. We had to put blankets over the area. The cleaner thought it was not good either but so it remains for the rest of the summer because this outfit really do not give a damn. The shower kept falling off, despite the wall being riddled with enough plas plug screw holes to sink a battleship. But we could not Find Felipe. The dining table must have come from a local tip, the chipboard was dripping off the edges. Not nice when having a cup of tea. The tea by the way was boiled from a pan on a two ringed stove. No kettle, as confirmed by the cleaner, No Felipe to get one.The customer care is epitomised in the bedroom, a plug each side of the bed. No side lamp just a ceiling light. No Felipe. No working Wifi (chargagable) No Felipe. If you are contemplating a holiday break here, by all means read the better ratings but if you do not get the one of the two favoured rooms (out of 20 ish ) and you manage to find your key you never know you may find Felipe too. But then...
