  The housekeepers stole from our room, the hotell director was nonchalant. We had to make the police to get involve. Super loud noises until 5-6 in in the morning. Definitely not Adults only! Alcohol spilled in our mini fridge, terrible cleaning.

  This is honestly an awful hotel. We are a couple that likes to travel on a budget and normally don’t have bad experiences with that. But let’s get something straight. A hotel should at least try to provide good sleeping conditions. The only thing they got right was the aircon. Beds, cheap, horrible, single beds on wheels slapped together to make a double. Pillows, cheap, flatter then my grandmas pancakes, no support. Walls paper thin, constant partying Germans in the rooms around you, conversations, toilet visits you can hear it all, all night. Hotel does nothing to stop partying in rooms at night. We like to leave our room early and come back around 15:00-18:00 to shower and get ready for the night, the rooms was never done by that time. We had to go and ask for fresh towels every day. There is plenty more to say but I will leave it with this. First day we where waiting for a Taxi, next to reception they have a Cafe, it was early, literally no other gusts, we sat down to wait 5 min and immediately got kicked out for not buying anything. Very bad all across the board, but good aircondition 👍🏻

  I’m writing this review as there seems to be a lack of recent reviews, which I always look for when booking , It’s a 3 star so wasn’t expecting the ritz. It’s predominantly German teens at this hotel. It’s incredibly noisy. We were woken by blaring music from the guests below at between 2-5am every night of the 3 nights we stayed. They would return from the clubs/bars and blare music., singing, burping and just being rowdy and disrespectful. Nothing was done to stop this. I know the areaIs known as “the German magaluf” but there’s no policing by the staff. Every morning there was pizza and rubbish thrown out of the windows. (A positive is that it was always cleaned up) We woke up to a cigarette on our balcony one morning. However our biggest concern was that we left the “do not disturb” sign on our door on the first morning, as we didn’t want the cleaners in..They removed it and entered anyway. Approx 10euros in change was taken from the bedside cabinet. We complained to reception who were very blasé and disinterested. Basically we were told we should have paid for a safe. It was 10euros , it wasn’t the value, it was the principle. We then had no trust at all, and felt our complaint wasn’t taken seriously. The hotel is clean, but could do with some modernisation, the toilet didn’t always flush and was mold in the bathroom. It was incredibly noisy and guests were not respectful of others. We have stayed in other hotels in Arenal, and appreciate there will be noise, but this was on another level. Have booked an alternative for when we arrive in July. We was room only so can’t comment onFood. The lady at the bar was lovely and very helpful as was the gentlemen on check in 24th and when we departed this morning 27th.

  Cozy and quite renovated hotel few steps away from the beach (it is much closer than it looks on google maps! :D) Hotel was clean and well looked after. Naturally there were some damages in the room but it was nothing that would make the stay unconfortable. The room service was quite nice as both times we left the note to clean the room and it was ready by the time we got back from the beach.Sadly there was no breakfast service, but there was an amazing bakery nearby!Great hotel 5 out of 5 stars!

  Would not recommend.First of all - breakfast is terrible. Food is always same and it is always cold. Eggs are cold, bacon cold, pancakes cold. Coffee is terrible. The only good thing in breakfast menu - deserts. The breakfast area is small. If you want to sleep more till like 9 am, there is a possibility that you wont find a free table, so you’ll have to wait for it.Secondly - rooms. The walls are so thin you can hear what your neighbours are doing. If they are having a shower - you will hear it, if they are running the sink - you will hear it, if they are walking - you will hear it. Rooms are small, beds are decent.Wifi is bad. Location is kinda good - 2 min walk to the beachThe staff are not as friendly as they should be.
