  Beware of additional charge by owner

  Our stay here was ok , apart from nowhere to put wet towels after using the pool?? no fridge for our own soft drinks, and a reluctance to loan us the last fan for one of our bedrooms (August temperatures) But the real disappointment and shock was the charge owner attempted to charge us, a surcharge of 30 euros per child per night = 180 euros. Even though we had a confirmed cost with Booking.com. It was stressful and a shock after our 3 days stay. It was blamed on Booking.com by the owner. We did pay a reduced amount of 120 euros but after a significant battle, this has just been refunded to us. For this reason I would not recommend this accommodation. Please allow me to give my statement:1. We are a hotel, so we ask our clients at check in not to bring own drinks with them since we do that for a living. We sell all kind of drinks at democratic prices. If clients do so, indeed they can not put them in a fridge. For other things, our clients can use our fridges in our kitchen.2. You have booked our family suite without terrace. That is also mentioned in your booking confirmation. If you want to dry wet clothes or towels, there is absolutely no problem to do so in our huge garden. There is a clothesline in the garden where all clients can hang their wet clothes. Weird that you never mentioned that problem whilst in the hotel.3. The surcharge for your children is a complete normal charge that is also mentioned in your booking confirmation and on the booking.com website. Unfortunately you didn´t read it. As a compensation for your "shock" I indeed reduced that supplement. Booking.com has now refunded the amount to you. That is good for you. Bad for Booking.com.When you left the hotel, you told us that you would recommend the hotel. Now you are writing that you would not do it. That is your choice.   Overpriced, much better rural hotels in Mallorca with better amenities and genuine staff.

  I dont think it knows what it is nor do the owners ,hotel, air bnb , holiday lets. Beautiful building spolit by very rude staff and lack of amenities for being far from anything. Breakfast is the only meal supplied but you can't use the cooking facilities as the kitchen is locked when the managment leave around 18.00 and there are no fridges in the rooms.There is one very small fridge downstairs that contains beer and wine where you write down what you have consumed ( honesty box). We were constantly asked every time we opened it by the "owners" if we had written down in the book, like we were 15 year old school children stealing sweets from the tuck shop. If you are going to close off the use of facilities invest in fridges for the rooms so at least guests can enjoy cold water in the middle of summer or some snacks without having to drive into the next town. While on the subject of driving, investment is needed on the driveway. If you own a 4x4 or are driving a rental car that you don't care about then fine, but I recommend you don't take your own.Customer service: fake! You can tell they have left the corporate world to have the lifestyle of running a rural hotel but they really need to understand how the general public work as mentioned before when following you around making sure you're not stealing a €0.50 can of San Miguel. We couldn't check in until 16.00 not 14.00 as stated on website so we had to drive back into town down the mountain track called a driveway. But be assured they were knocking at out door at 11.59 telling us that "check out is at 12.00"It was a real shame as the setting is very nice with great views but for that price there are so many better rural hotels in Mallorca.

  Our family of 5 stayed here, and we loved it. It has wonderful views, surrounded by mountains and countryside- very peaceful and tranquil. The climate is nice and cool in the mornings. It is quite close to Bunyola village from where you can catch the train to Soller. We had very nice breakfasts, the hosts are very friendly and welcoming, and recommended some great places to dine out in the local area. We also went on some pretty walks around the area and our children loved it, especially the neighboring resident donkey 'Tinto'. We will definitely go back. Sibylle and Joe...   Peaceful and relaxing

  Beautiful complete bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Some shared terraces. Spectacular views. Gardens to walk in. Warm and really quiet. Enjoyed rich mediterranean breakfasts both in the dining room and outside.No lunch or diner service, but you can bring your own food and use the kitchen.

  We stayed at this beautiful accommodation as a family of four for four nights.It was the perfect setting away from the busy tourist resorts. Our two children aged 8 and 6 enjoyed the pool and tree climbing! Our room was simple, yet perfect. We all had amazing sleeps!The view from the beautiful shutters was the perfect start to the day.Thank you to our hosts who were so hospitable and helpful.Food amazing.Bunyola the local town beautiful.Train from Bunyola to soller a must.
