  I will start this review by thanking James who reviewed on the 14th May, this not only made me chuckle but word for word this was my experience. Room If you don’t mind a bit of a 90’s vibe then you’re in luck in the main. When we arrived at our room the damp smell hit me and on further exploration was coming from the wardrobe. To be fair, when I had a word we were kindly moved to block B which was lovely. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. The air con is a bit touch and go but after some messing, we discovered it works with the patio door slightly ajar. Hotel in generalGet ready for a good half hour of admin when you arrive. They require a copy of the hotel voucher despite the fact all your details are pre loaded and then you spend 20 minutes on an iPad entering all your personal details none of which are checked given I added all 5 of my family with the same email address, address and signed all of their signatures myself. It’s all a bit dated and there are far too many rules which seem to change depending on which member of staff you speak to or if they can be bothered that day. In general, the staff are miserable as sin however, I must give a huge special shout out to Kelly and Manuel who were both consistently pleasant and a joy to be around. The hotel cleaning staff are lovely and rooms are cleaned daily, always fresh towels which is nice. The pools and sunbathing facilities are good I would say. Pools and sun beds are not available until 10 which stops the scramble, I heard some complaints about this but I quite liked the fact you could have your morning at leisure. The location of the hotel is excellent, few mins walk to the centre and about 20 mins to the harbour. Food and drink The €1 cup and plate scenario is a bit of a joke to be honest. I have read responses from the hotel talking about being eco friendly which is utter tosh because when I asked for my metal bottle to be filled, the bar man looked at me like he had discovered a skid mark on a hotel towel. I have no doubt in my mind that some money is being made from this. It makes no sense, they’re not giving out cut glass, it’s a plastic cup. The food is not bad to be honest. Decent salad daily and a meat option. I have had much worse but I do think the selection could be better for the size of the complex. If you’re eating out a few nights, I think you would be okay. The drink to be fair is standard all inclusive, not wonderful, not awful :) If you’re looking for a central family stay, give it a bash. It’s a decent base to get a couple of drinks and to get your head down

  Great location, lovely and clean and service quick. Animation team were not the best especially for English and there was some language barriers there. Pools were small but good, plenty of sunbeds to put out but not much space to put them. You do have full use (baring the main restaurant) of the sister hotel which is much better for entertainment/animation for family. Food was always fresh and tasty but very repetitive, I don’t eat fish or pork so did mainly live on pizza bread and pasta as chicken was not served the 6 days k was there. Reception staff friendly, rooms dates but clean and everything you need, we did hire a fridge as I have medication, think it was 6 euro a day. PG tips and hp brown sauce was a nice touch for us northerners! Only negative would be that we asked on arrival to keep 1 of our rooms for an extra day as we had a night flight and was told no problem to go the day before, we went 3 times and told on checkout that we couldn’t keep any of the rooms, we paid 10 euro each, 5 euro for children to keep the all inclusive and used the luggage room which was secure, the bad bit was there was only 1 shower for the whole hotel , which was freezing and literally a trickle and had 15/20 people waiting to use it. For a hotel of that size I’d expect better check out facilities.   The hotel is in a perfect location for the shops and restaurants, and just across the road from Cala Gran beach, and a 10 minute walk to Cala Esmerelda and Cala Petit, which are all so beautiful with crystal clear turquoise sea. I'd read the reviews and knew what to expect. The size of the pools, with limited opening times was a big negative for me. I'd have my breakfast and be set up at 08.15 on the beach for a few hours, instead of waiting for the pool.The food could be vastly improved. It was edible, you quickly learnt what was ok,and I managed to find something to eat as I'm not too fussy. The bacon was tasteless, I honestly can't understand how this is even possible!, the fried eggs were cooked on mass, and the yolks were solid, like a hard boiled egg, but flat! No mushrooms or tinned/grilled tomatoes, hash browns appeared once. The bread rolls were fresh and tasty, so I'd stuff the overcooked eggs or chorizo and cheese in them, and have some cereal. The coffee from the machine, and the juice and smoothies were alright. At the evening meal there was always meat fish and pasta. I found the turkey steaks, pork chops, the mediterranean vegetables and the roast potatoes were OK but the meat was overcooked. The pork stew was nice. The room was dated, which didn't bother me. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was good, with no fluctuating water temperature. I got out and about a lot, so the hotel was more of a base, so had an amazing time.   Very basic hotel. It is two hotels connected by a bridge.Room needed updated. All areas were kept clean, staff in dining area kept tables empty and cleaned quickly. All staff very approachable.Food was only ever lukewarm.Entertainment was interesting- magic show 🥱🥱Only one bar open during day time near pool area, second bar opened in the evening near restaurant .Pool opens from 10amWas very disappointed with access to getting hot drinks, one by reception other near pool area, no facilities in your toom. Also only one water station on bridge.Atmosphere was good, located was very good close to beaches ( great as love swimming in the sea) and restaurants and shops.Ting ting train great there are two green and yellow- card payment only.Only one upset and disappointment me was on my last day. I returned from breakfast at 08.20 to find the cleaner renewing the bedding. My check out time was 11am. I still needed to use the facilities in my room and also had left all my personal possessions out to finish my packing. I found this very intrusive. Have tried emailing hotel regarding this issue and have had no response.As a first ever solo holiday did meet some wonderful people.   Didn’t know what to expect after reading the reviews for this hotel but we were pleasantly impressed. We traveled with our adult son who has autism and was greeted by Antonio at reception when checking in. I asked if there was a fridge in our room as my son is diabetic and I needed to store his insulin in the fridge, my mistake as I should have checked before. He couldn’t have been more helpful and changed our room to one with a fridge, which we were extremely grateful for. The room was lovely next to the small pool and cleaned to a very high standard. The food was typical of an all inclusive and better than a lot we’ve stayed in. Very impressed with the staff in the restaurant keeping tables cleared. We found the holiday excellent value for money.
