    Santa Lucia hotel

    rating26 Apr 2026

Stayed here for 4 nights. We had an amazing time. Loved the rooftop infinity lounging/pool area. Tony who was there serving drinks was very good. Also the entertainment was good whilst we were there. Unfortunately even though people are told not to reserved sunbeds people still do this and go missing for half the day, leaving one odd bed between each group. The life guard is useless making out he could understand English and refused to move the towels. He also stopped me moving beds around so my family of 4 could sit together rather than scattered round the pool area on the odd beds. If the guard didn’t understand English how could I tell him if someone was in danger in the water? Would still return and definitely go superior so I don’t have the same run in with the pool guard again.

Nice place overall, clean, food okay, relaxed and in a good location.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon in April 2026.We arrived around 9.15pm, the reception area was bright and clean. A female receptionist was helpful, though she did seem a little flustered by the group arriving, especially as dinner was only available until 9.30pm. We were given a welcome sheet on arrival which mentioned that a late check out could be purchased (if available). There was also a card in our room with the late check out times and prices. We asked about a late check out the next day and were told to come back on the day of check out. There are 3 lifts/elevators which meant that you never had to wait too long to get up/down stairs. Our room was on the third floor and was clean and had everything we needed, two singles pushed together, bedside tables, shelving and wardrobe space, a TV, fridge and small balcony. The bathroom was a good size and again was clean (we had a slight issue with our shower which was resolved after a call to reception). There was a safe in the room but you had to pay for this. The hotel is right on the beach, and is surrounded by hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. The spa across the road was perfect for us as we were able to stock up on water and snacks. The outdoor pool was not as big as I had hoped it would be, as I like to go for a morning swim. The outdoor pool was so cold, not many people were in it through the day, the indoor pool was warmer. There were always sunbeds available if you went down before 10am, though after that it was a waiting game. There were a mixture of guests (British, German and French), with quite a lot of the guests being slightly older.Breakfast was always nice, though the omelette station was always far too busy for just one staff member. Dinner was themed each night - Spanish, Mexican, Italian, Asian, Indian. There were not a great deal of vegetarian options which was a bit of a problem for us - we did always manage to find something to eat though. It was all very nice and well cooked, the buffet areas were very clean. On the first night we had taken a glass of pepsi and tango - though on the second night when we went to get this again we were told it was only for all inclusive, which is fine, we just didn't know. There was music on around the pool each day, but it was pretty relaxed. We thought that there would be more noise from the surrounding area but it was okay, with only one night having quite a bit of noise (another guest in the hotel making quite a bit of noise on their balcony), a couple of mornings there were doors being slammed from around 5am. But the noise levels were okay overall. We were told when we booked that the hotel would be notified that it was our honeymoon and they would "make a fuss" - we thought maybe this would be a bottle of sparkling wine in the room on arrival, but this wasn't the case. There was no fuss made. Which is fine, we didn't get married for a fuss. The receptionist booked a taxi for us to go into Palma. It was around 20 minutes away and cost just over 20euro.On the day we were checking out, I went to the desk to ask about a late check out and was asked to come back later. We went back later and asked again, and were told it wasn't possible. We were slightly disappointed by this as our transfer was quite late in the day, and this would have been good. We do understand that they had guests coming in on the day, just would have been nice.I would say that it was good value for money and we would come back again, however next time we would consider just bed and breakfast as there were plenty of places around to eat and as I mentioned the vegetarian options in the hotel were not always the most varied.

    Gorgeous hotel (adults only)

Booked this hotel for a surprise for partners 50th. Its an adukts only hotel first time for us as we normally go to family friendly with our children but was just me and my partner this time. Gorgeous hotel, views from room were lovely. No running for beds as having beds round the pool and 2 sun terraces too. Also indoor pool which was warm, sauna and jacuzzi too. Staff were all lovely. Food was hit and miss but it is everywhere, there was always something you could chose. Would definately go back here in a prime location and in walking distance to loads of places.

    Bad start

First night here and the evening meal was stone cold. Manager told me that the chef has to check food temperature . Obviously he isn't doing this as my meal was shocking. Will probably live in chip Butty,s the rest of the week. Four star? I don't think so. Overall lovely, however food was a let down 👎🏻

    rating17 Apr 2026

We stayed at Globales Santa Lucia for a week all inclusive. The location was great with 2 beaches on either side of the hotel, and another only a 5 minute walk away. The atmosphere within the hotel was quite chilled, staff were friendly especially Angie and Alex from animation team who would ask for people to join in with day time activities and bingo of a night time. The bedroom is a good enough size, however we did not like that the beds were 2 single beds pushed together. However, each room has a sea view balcony and there are some lovely views of sunrise / sunset. Very clean and the house keepers would have the beds cleaned and changed quickly within the day. The only issue we had unfortunately was around the food. Each night there is a different cuisine and the first night was Indian. On this night I had awful food poisoning and when talking to other guests, their experience with the food within the restaurant was also not great. The food was either lukewarm or bland. Nothing seemed hot or fresh. However, the snack bar had lovely food during the day such as nachos, wraps, burgers and chips which were delicious.
