Location

This hotel overlooks the sea, in the bay of Cala San Vicente. From the swimming pool in the hotel, guests have access to the beach down a flight of steps. Restaurants and public transport are both located within close reach of the hotel.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 14 apartments, 23 single rooms and 84 double rooms located in a 4-storey main building and 4 auxiliary buildings. In the air-conditioned hotel, guests are welcomed in the lobby with 24-hour reception desk and a -hour check-in/check-out service. Services such as a safe, a currency exchange service and a cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service (for a fee). Bicycle storage is also available. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and adjustable central heating. Guests can enjoy the mountain view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a double bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Whether more active or in need of rest and relaxation, guests can unwind at the pool complex, which includes a children's area and a total of 2 swimming pools.     Having hired bikes in Puerto Pollensa and cycled here, we were absolutely stunned by the beauty of the bay when arriving into Cala San Vicente — it’s one of the most picturesque spots we’ve seen on our travels this week and we’ve travelled a lot! Hotel Simar offers incredible value for money. The food is of good quality, with a surprisingly wide selection available even during a quieter period. What really stood out to us, though, was the warm and friendly welcome we received at reception — especially after a couple of less positive experiences elsewhere. It instantly set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable stay.It’s a fair 3-star hotel, and the pricing is perfectly in line with the level of service and quality you receive. Everything feels honest, well-run, and excellent for the price.We’ll definitely be back and we’d recommend Hotel Simar to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with unbeatable views and genuine hospitality.Having read some of the other reviews and given our travel experience, I do feel that some people’s expectations are a little unrealistic. It’s extremely good for a 3 star resort and well priced, the Globales Brand does have a 4 star hotel next door for those who want something a little more flashy.     Fantastic hotel and experience

    The whole experience was fantastic. The staff are friendly and attentive. We booked all inclusive and all the food was wonderful, there was a good amount of variation for each meal and everything tasted great. There was plenty of areas to sunbathe and there were a number of areas in the sun and shade, depending on your preference!The room was spacious and comfortable, although the mattress wasn't the best for us. We had a beautiful view of the sea and loved sitting out on the balcony when not by the pool. The hotel wasn't noisy and allowed us to relax the whole trip. We didn't experience the evening entertainment but we couldn't hear a thing when in our room which was great. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone.     Amazing clean and well maintained hotel. , well located , friendly and welcoming staff restaurant staff was also friendly and welcoming plenty of good food on offer.     Positives---- The view was amazing absolutely beautiful, a short Taxi drive in to Pollensa, rooms are clean , comfortable beds but very basic, we had a fridge in the room, breakfast had good choice.Now for the rest We were the only British people and were pretty much ignored, the breakfast was lovely but the rest of the food wasn't great couldn't tell you what most of it was , all inclusive drinks were awful we ended up paying for jugs of cocktails, we were only there 2 nights 3 days ( a carers break) the food was that bad the 1st night we went Puerto de Pollensa on the second and ate out we had some amazing cocktails in the square that were half the price the hotel charged and so much nicer, I wouldn't return here ,the only thing it has going for it is the spectacular view Globales Simar, Marketing at Globales Simar, responded to this review Good morning dear customers.Cala San Vicente is indeed a lovely place for a perfect holiday.Let me tell you that you are welcome and should give us a second chance to see that we provide good service to everyone equally.Thank you very much for visiting us.See you soon.
