Location

These apartments enjoy a privileged location by the sea and wonderful views over the bay. Guests will find links to the public transport network, shops, restaurants, bars and nightspots within 50 m of the complex and the town centre of Santa Ponsa, with its beach is just 100 m away. Palma de Mallorca city is a 15-minute drive and Palma de Mallorca Airport is just 30 km away.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 46 apartments and 147 studios, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a car hire service, medical assistance, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service (for a fee) to explore the surrounding area.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a desk are also available. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a TV and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The apartment hotel has family rooms, 193 non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. There is a poolside snack bar as well. The hotel offers a range of outdoor sport, including cycling/mountain biking, beach volleyball and archery or, for a fee, tennis, crazy golf and golf. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy water skiing, jet skiing, catamaraning, snorkelling and diving. A wide range of indoor sporting activities are also offered, for example table tennis and callisthenics or, for a fee, a gym and billiards. Guests can relax and unwind in the wellness area (massage treatments). Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. The non-smoking restaurant provides high chairs for children. A delicious breakfast is an excellent reason to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests can order dishes à la carte or choose a set menu. Non-alcoholic beverages are available.

    Lovely staff and a really good view of the harbour - very clean and room ok,Not self catering as all you manage to do is toast and eggs no work tops.If you want a good night sleep forget it we were woken every night one night with a fight

    View of Rats on balcony,terrible customer service so rude

    Very disappointed with our stay at Verdemar Santa Ponsa. The biggest issue during our holiday was rats running up and down outside our balcony while we were trying to sit and eat breakfast. This is clearly a serious health and safety concern. When we reported it to reception, the response we received was, “Sorry about that, but they are animals,” which was extremely dismissive and unprofessional.Because of this, my mother did not feel comfortable sitting outside on the balcony for breakfast for the full five days of our stay, which completely affected our experience.There were also several other issues including the room phone and TV not working properly, as well as rude and unwelcoming bar and reception staff. We tried to overlook these issues, however the rat problem was completely unacceptable.Overall, very poor customer service and a disappointing experience. I would not recommend staying here.

    We had the best family holiday ever staying here. Was great being so local to so many shops and restaurants the beach is 5 minute walk. The hotel itself was perfect. We had a beach view room which was beautiful and the whole hotel was clean and welcoming. The best thing about the hotel though were the staff. From the receptionists, the cleaners, the bar staff, the best lifegaurd, David, and to top it off the best entertainment staff. Elina and Georgia were just a breath of fresh air. My daughter just idolised them and they were fully trustworthy with the kids. They were so friendly and fun to be around was like you were out with your mates for the night. Highly recommend this hotel not just for the actual place but more so because the staff are truly the best 😍.     Better that some 4 star hotels We've been in

    Fantastic apartments which are ideally situated, extremely clean and great value for money. I always say that the staff in any hotel are your best assets and it certainly is the case here. They are hard working, courteous and very friendly. The Animacion staff are so lovely and encourage you to take part in activities without being pushy. The food and drinks are fairly priced and from what we had, very good. We ate out every night and had some lovely meals. Particularly recommend Xaloc for great steaks and Paco's which is the best value for money, and are very near to the hotel. Le Jardin, which is up near The Square, and if you like plain fair Scott's, which is upstairs from Stepps bar. For entertainment we loved McTavishes which had great entertainment every night, and football on TV during the day if that floats your boat. My only gripe with the hotel is the daily charge of 3. 50 euro for a sunbed each day, although to be fair they didn't come round every day. Overall a great stay. However don't think I'd return to Santa Ponsa as it seems to be over run by the football contingency and thats not for me.     Wonderful stay and fabulous staff!

    We had such a lovely holiday and stayed in a sea view apartment. The apartment was so clean and cleaners came in daily, which was great. The view was incredible to wake up to each morning! The location was so handy to gorgeous restaurants and plenty of supermarkets and shops near by. Big shout out to all the staff at the hotel, who really made our trip so special. The staff here go above and beyond to make sure you have a good holiday and we appreciated them all so much. Special mention to Giorgia and Eline - two lovely girls who were full of energy and fun and made sure our daughter had the best time (Rosie says hello and misses you both!). We would certainly recommend this hotel to families and couples - and would love to visit again in the future!
