Dirty and gross

This hotel was overpriced for what we got. Totally gross room. Dirty and old. It was a dog room and we did not have a pet. Filthy carpets, dirty shower. The bedding was ok and the pillows were good. The bathroom was the worst. No water pressure with mold and hairs everywhere. The carpet was completely stained with urine. One night was enough. Do not recommend.

The staff were friendly but that’s about it. I selected a room on the app but was given a different room. Upon entering the room there were filthy towels and used Kleenex’s on the bathroom sink. Was given a different room and the door to that room did not lock. The third attempt was fine but this hotel has definitely been neglected. The toilet barely flushed and the snack bar was almost empty. They have the typical spread for breakfast but there are no restaurants close by other than a Salt Grass which has not so great reviews and the I and I Tavern which is a great little local spot a few minutes away. Next time I’m in Danville for work I’ll stay at the newer hotel Nextdoor and forgo the Hilton Points.

Where is the Maintenance Crew??

We were dismayed by the disrepair of this Hampton Inn. Nothing felt particularly dirty, but tiles in the bathroom were missing, lamps and coat hook were off the wall, paint on the doors was peeling, the security latch on our entrance door was broken, carpeting everywhere was stained and worn. The plus factor: the staff at the front desk and the breakfast staff. They were accommodating with a full hotel.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The suite is just a hotel room. The kitchenette has NOTHING in it. There are holeS in the walls of the bathroom and MOLD. Avoid. This place should not be in business. We could have stayed across the street for less money and a newer room. Lesson learned.
