This appealing luxury hotel lies directly in the centre of Sóller where a selection of shopping and entertainment venues is to be found. The beach in Puerto de Sóller is 3 km away and can easily be reached with the somewhat nostalgic tram. A tram stop may be found only 200 m from the hotel. Transfer to the airport in Palma takes about 45 minutes.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1750. The hotel has 2 junior suites, 3 suites, 4 single rooms and 29 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features in the rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests.     In taking my USA friend to Sóller, I wanted to find a great hotel in Sóller, and narrowed choice down to 3, ahead of stay. So glad we chose Gran Hotel Sóller. The welcoming staff are the hotels USP. Reception staff are absolutely superb, see photo of our lovely hosts, gave us a warm welcome, and then an immaculate room with an olde world flavour of style and substance. Very comfortable room with French doors and balcony, and a spacious bathroom with all needs met. Comfy bed guaranteed a good nights sleep.At breakfast, Barbara , Paquita and Sua gave great service, complimented by a breakfast buffet, where all was great. Lovely, healthy variety of tasty food. Location is great , near square, and lots of restaurants. Take the tram to Port Soller for a great seaside restaurants, and fresh air....and book Soller restaurants well in advance. It's a very busy place! Highly recommend. This is a great choice.

    Beautiful hotel which is one of my favourite hotels in Mallorca. Serves an excellent breakfast which is extensive and delicious. Really comfortable beds and well appointed rooms. Lovely staff and great restaurant which serves beautiful food. The changes to the roof top lunch menu were disappointing - we loved the club sandwiches!     Definitely has the “wow” factor - beautiful hotel with exceptional staff

    This is a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and friendly, helpful staff.From pulling up outside in our taxi and getting the “wow” factor, it absolutely exceeded our expectations.The breakfast is top quality with so much choice - a cold buffet and then you can order hot food off the menu including Eggs Benedict (recommended) and omelettes. The ladies serving you for breakfast are warm, helpful and engaging.The rooftop pool is great. It rained when we were there so we didn’t have the opportunity to sit up there but I did use the pool for a morning swim and was beautiful with the mountains as a backdrop. My only complaint - which is the same in most hotels - is that the pool didn’t open until 9am which leaves it too late for a pre breakfast swim. The rooms are big, really clean and comfortable whilst retaining the heritage feel of the hotel.All in all a great stay and we won’t hesitate to come back!     Great hotel with outstanding staff

    My wife and I had the best experience at the Gran Hotel. The facility is great with nice rooms, many with balconies, and a beautiful upstairs terrace with a view of the town, a bar and a pool, and lots of space to relax. There is a nice spa downstairs with an indoor pool, sauna and spa services; we didn't use this but it was quite attractive. The bet part was the personnel at the front desk especially Cinthia, who was always friendly and helpful with great recommendations for hikes. restaurants etc. Our room was right next to the front desk so we interacted with the people there a lot and it was always fun! Which is not that common of a travel experience. Would most definitely stay there again.     We have just arrived back from our third year at the Gran Hotel. as usual everything is exceptional. The staff are friendly, efficient, helpful and make you feel like royalty. The hotel is wonderful and the rooms very comfortable.The location is tremendous, close to the centre and surrounded by the most fabulous scenery.To show how much we love this hotel we have already booked for next year.As we say IF YOU WANT THE BEST, THIS IS IT.
