Location

This resort is situated just 800 m from the public sandy beach, in a lively area right in the heart of Cala Ratjada. It is an ideal point of departure for beach holidaymakers, active holidaymakers, families or nature lovers who'd like to get to know the area better. The apartment hotel is located just steps from nightlife and shopping.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 188 apartments and 48 studios located in a 4-storey main building and a single-storey auxiliary building. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a baggage storage service. Wireless internet access in public areas (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. 6 lifts and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Further services include a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hotel doctor and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service (for a fee) to explore the surrounding area. A photocopier is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning (no extra charge) and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A welcome gift awaits guests. Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds can be provided at no extra charge upon request. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a mini fridge, stovetop, microwave and tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a flatscreen television with satellite/cable channels, a plug adapter and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Guests will also find slippers in their rooms. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Some of 5 wheelchair-friendly rooms have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. The apartment hotel has 236 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

There are indoor and outdoor pools (no extra charge) and a children's swimming area. Pure relaxation in the hot tub (no extra charge), fun on the waterslide and refreshing drinks at the pool bar – guests will experience just how rich and varied a day in the water can be. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hotel offers an extensive outdoor sport and leisure programme, which includes volleyball, archery, Nordic walking and jogging. For a fee, guests can also enjoy cycling/mountain biking, tennis, golf, fishing and horse riding. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy water skiing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, jet skiing, paddle boating, sailing, kayaking, snorkelling and diving. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, darts, yoga, aerobics and pilates or, for a fee, billiards. A wellness area with a sauna is available to guests. For a fee, massage treatments are also offered. Third-party operators offer massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' disco and live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room and a breakfast room. Guests can dine at the restaurant (non-smoking, a buffet, air conditioning and high chairs). Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and all-inclusive. Among the advantages of an all-inclusive stay are a wide selection of imported alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as special offers like snacks, live cooking, gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes. A continental breakfast buffet provides many delicious reasons to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the buffet. Children's meals, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request.

    Hi have frequently stayed at Aparthotel Flora in Port de Polenca, when on cycling trip with friends. I have never been disappointed. The Location is excellent for holidaying or sports trips. The surrounding area is excellent for cycling and the bay, a short stroll away is perfect or swimming.The hotel apartments are spacious, well equipped and very clean. Cleaning and servicing is excellent. The staff are pleasant and helpful.It ticks all my boxes and I wouldn't hesitate to receommend.

    The flora is within a 5 minute walk to the pine walk, its beach and the main square. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and the rooms are clean, large and have everything you need from an apartment. We will be back again soon it’s the perfect spot near to everything, nice pool and bar area great family choice as well

    I have just returned from the Flora. I arrived quite late (11.15pm). I had a ground floor apartment. As soon as I opened the door the musty/old smelll hit me. The bed clothes and pillows were smelly too. Not even a complimentary sachet of milk for a cuppa. The next day I noticed i was directly behind the public showers and toilets for hotel guests using the pool and guests freshening up on check out. I did tell the hotel about the smell and they put in a couple of plug ins just masking it. The floor was gritty, like someone had been to the beach. I was only there 5 nights so maybe I got the boobie prize. The weather was grim for 2 days solid (not hotel's fault of course), hence me spending more time in than out). Rooms aren't cleaned daily BTW. I paid a premium price for a substandard room and service. My rating is for the location and shower which were good.

    It was our 10th stay at Aparthotel Flora. The staff are the most pleasant hotel staff we have ever met. They make the stay all the more enjoyable. Great hotel in one of the loveliest places we've ever stayed. See you in August 26. The Hales!!!
