Location

This hotel is situated in a quiet location, on a small hill with a fine sand beach just paces away. The surrounding area offers plenty of bars, nightclubs and restaurants. The centre of Playa de Palma offers scores of shops and other entertainment venues, just 700 metres away. Public transport leaves from directly in front of the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 14 single rooms and 259 double rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library.     I have recently returned from the Grupotel Orient after 8 days. The rooms are clean and comfortable, however depending where you are staying they are very noisy with other guests returning late in the evening.     Did not receive great support as cyclist. Very noisy with predominantly German youngsters partying. Local strip not for the over 25s. Loud music in pool bar. Food ok but limited for vegetarians. Very underwhelming. Small bedrooms. Air-conditioning more if a vent system.
