    Excellent apartment with swimming-pool

    rating22 May 2026

Habitat are apartments located in the entrance of Port de Pollença, a coastal town in the East side of Mallorca Island. The rate quality/price was excellent. The apartment was very well equipped, it has all we needed to stay some nights some persons. It has an open air swimming-pool and a place with grass to sunbathe for guests. The staff was very friendly and we could be on the last day in the facilities until midday. The price was very cheap (we came here in April). On the other hand, It is located in the surroundings of Port de Pollença, a bit far from the center and the main promenade.

A Mallorcan holiday at a reasonable price.

    rating15 Oct 2025

Our first time back since the apartments were refurbished a little while ago and we certainly noticed the difference: the apartments are in better condition, the wifi is now good and both the shower and the air conditioning were efficient. As requested, we had an apartment overlooking the second pool and on a high floor. We heard no noise from anyone around us, apart from the traffic outside but we knew to expect that, anyway. The attractive grounds mean that the place never feels congested or claustrophobic. We do not mind that the complex is some distance from the sea front as it means we can still enjoy a Mallorcan holiday at a reasonable price, especially when we book directly online. Our stay did coincide with 3 days of Storm Alice circling the Balearics and the coast of the Spanish mainland which did make for some dramatic weather conditions, but we did manage to get out and about between the thunderstorms. We did experience power cuts but only for a couple of minutes in each case. On this occasion we had hired a car, but Habitat is a good base to stay even without one with bus stops directly outside for buses to Pollensa on one side and to Alcudia across the road.

I would book again with a few changes

    rating11 Aug 2025

Pros:- 1. Amazing staff who go the extra mile. They organised our transfers which worked so well (I booked with booking.com and was messaging them prior to arrival). Great banter on email calling me “a pianist, may my music reach every soul”. Loved that. 2. Sunbeds- LOADS! No matter what time you wake up, you can always get enough for your family. What a treat. I’m not being funny but in 2016 I stayed in the fergus hotel 5 mins down the road towards the main road and we had to get up at 7am to get beds. It was so overcrowded and cost relatively twice as much (it’s now called Cabot spa and has had a refurb. I went to have a look and it was even busier than I remembered).3. Pool view means everyone has one the way the apartments are designed. 4. The best air con ever.5. Clientele. No scruffy people leaving litter, smoking/ vaping or getting drunk in front of children. Just nice, respectful people of all nationalities being respectful with manners. This is a big one for me, nice to be with people from all nationalities. 6. Cooking facilities are good. You can make pasta, noodles etc on the hob and there’s also a microwave. No oven… so that would be my feedback if you wanted pizza. 7. Location. So this one is a funny one. You get what you pay for. Yes it’s 15 mins walk to the main part with children. But it costs a lot less. I’m fine walking and we had a buggy for the youngest.8. There’s a supermarket directly opposite. The staff are so warm and helpful. They literally stock everything you could ever imagine. Every women’s thing you might need too. So impressed. Cons:- 1. Please clean the pool. We didn’t see anyone cleaning it over 9 days. There was no smell of chlorine. Two of my family got ear infections. My husband was one of them; to put this into context, he’s not even seen a doctor for 15 years but he needed antibiotics. My eldest son also got an ear infection and the doctor said it was due to going under the water in the pool. Needless to say, he spent the last two days of the holiday in the (air conditioned) room which was a blow. On balance, invest in pool cleaners and I would book again without hesitation. Read my other reviews for the restaurants.

    Nice Family Holiday

    rating06 Jul 2025

Just returned from a two week holiday at the Habitat through TUI. Overall we had a good experience but the complex does require some improvements and updating. Rooms were a good size with air conditioning, adequate kitchen and good size balcony but it did need a bit of updating as some skirting boards coming away, couple of dents in the doors, slightly wonky kitchen cupboard doors, bedroom drawer wouldn't pull out and one window wouldn't fully close. The apartment was cleaned every two day's (not mopped though) with new towels toilet rolls supplied. Make sure you clean also as there are plenty of ants. One thing we didn't know was some of the apartments seemed to be privately owned. Bar area ok (closed at around 8:30pm!) with a few snacks, drinks, pool table €2, table tennis and seating area. Two good sized pools but only saw it cleaned once whilst we were there which left a bit of debris from the grounds at the bottom. The grounds around the pool were really lovely with plenty of sunbeds (no fighting) and space to relax. One major gripe though is that this hotel does not have any parasols as stated on the TUI brochure which wasn't good for us. Good stocked shop over the road but expensive with nice pub a restaurant next door to it. Bigger and cheaper supermarket 10min down the road (eroski). Bus stops right outside but we used Mallorca cabs app (basically Uber) to get to harbour/Pine Walk which cost €6 to €7. Pine walk had loads of restaurants to choose from and some nice bars. Would recommend Sea side restaurant at Pine Walk and Palms Bar (road down to beach). Palms Bar usually needs to be booked when they have a tribute night on.

    Good value for money

    rating15 Apr 2025

My family and I have just spent the week in a 2 bedroom apartment. We are a family of four including two teenagers. My daughter slept in the smaller of the two bedrooms and my son slept in the lounge on one of the sofa beds which worked out fine. The plus side the apartment was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. The apartment was cleaned with clean towels, every other day. Wifi in the room is very good. The cooking facilities are very basic so not great for cooking evening meals. The fridge has a small freezer section, however this wasn't that effective. There are lots of lovely restaurants nearby (approximately a 15-20 minute strollaway). The hot water did not last very long. We had to keep showers to a minimum. The last person showering normally ran out of hot water. The pools are nice but not heated. I never saw anyone clean them but they were clean apart from debris blown into the pool by the nearby trees. The outside areas i.e by the pool and apartments are cleaned daily. There are some very neglected ponds which were green. They contained some large fish and turtles, but I am surprised anything was alive in there. Parts of the outside areas were quite neglected. The location is about a 15 minute walk to the beach and about a similar distance to a large supermarket. There is a bus stop right outside. All in all we had a good experience for the price we paid. I would recommend the hotel for a cheap break
