Location

This hotel is located in the hills of the Costa de la Calma between Santa Ponsa and Paguera, in a vast park area with mature trees and subtropical gardens. There are restaurants in Sa Masia, while the heart of Paguera, where guests will find bars, night clubs, links to the public transport network, shops and the beach with its fine sand, is approximately 2.5 km away. Places of interest, such as the port of Andratx, the gothic quarter of Palma or the beautiful town of Valldemossa, known for the Real Cartuja, are all no more than 1 hour from the hotel. Palma de Mallorca Airport is approximately 30 km from the establishment.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 172 non-smoking rooms located in a 3-storey main building and a 7-storey auxiliary building. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park. Other services include a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee) and a laundry service. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi are provided as well. Guests will also find slippers in their rooms. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can strike that perfect balance between exercise and relaxation in one of the 3 indoor and outdoor pools. The freshwater pool area, which is in part heated, also has a children's pool. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Those who wish to stay active while on holiday can enjoy cycling/mountain biking and crazy golf. For a fee, tennis is also available. With snorkelling or, for a fee, windsurfing, jet skiing, sailing, catamaraning and diving available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, billiards and yoga. Various wellness options are available at the complex, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon and massage treatments. The hotel offers plenty of activities and entertainment options, including a kids' club, live music and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant (with high chairs), a breakfast room and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and all-inclusive. At breakfast and dinner, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The complex also offers special catering options. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Fantastic facilities, even better staff

    Great hotel overall. Fantastic grounds. Lots of greenery and well tended pools. Spa facilities were immaculate. We came here on half board and the food was fine. Mostly buffets but the meals varied and some of the items were quite good. This place is perfect for kids. There are always simple food options for picky eaters. There is usually a well staffed kids club, but we were here a bit too early in the season for that. Since my daughter had been quite keen on the PS5 competitions that are mentioned in the family brochure for this place, the front desk arranged for us to have the hotel PS5 installed in our room! Ridiculously kind but very much typical of the staff behavior here. While it was Nataly and Javier who sorted the PS5, we had so many wonderful and helpful encounters with the staff that I am sure any of them would have done the same. We are extremely grateful and will most definitely be back. Muchisimas Gracias!

    We had a great stay in this beautiful place. The hotel is clean, the restaurant has delicios dishes, the breakfast is very good. The resort has an amazing view and a very nice pool. The staff is polite and very helpfull. We will come back soon.

    Absolutely horrendous experience from start to finish. This hotel advertising itself as a “5-star Hilton” is honestly embarrassing. I booked a superior room over the phone and specifically triple-checked multiple times that it would include a sea view. After arriving, it became obvious either the staff had no clue what they were selling or simply lied to secure the booking.The room was shocking. Broken fixtures everywhere, dirty floors, mould on the bathroom ceiling, cheap standard king-size bed, empty fridge, no iron, and two disgusting warm cans of water left on a shelf like some kind of joke. The coffee machine came with capsules but no milk for a so-called luxury hotel this is beyond ridiculous. There wasn’t even a comfortable place to sit and work.The bathroom looked like a disabled-access room, which completely ruined the feel of the stay. When I questioned this, staff tried arguing over the phone that everything was perfectly fine and kept insisting there was “no difference.” There absolutely is a difference, especially when you book and pay for a premium superior room expecting luxury and comfort.To make things worse, the staff were rude, dismissive, and defensive the entire time instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally. Rather than acknowledging the obvious problems, they spent their time trying to convince me the room was acceptable. That level of arrogance is unbelievable in hospitality.I requested a room upgrade and was told I’d need to pay extra despite the condition of the original room being nowhere near acceptable. Then I waited over an hour for a callback that never came. After 1.5 hours, I had to go down to reception myself just to ask for an extra room key, and only then was I informed the new room was ready. At that point they casually admitted superior rooms don’t even have sea views, directly contradicting what I was promised before booking.This entire experience felt misleading, disorganised, and completely below Hilton standards. I genuinely regret booking here and will be posting this experience across social media and review platforms. Hilton hotels are now permanently on our blacklist after this disaster.     Hilton Mallorca Galatzo ripped me off.

    The Hilton Mallorca Galatzo double-charged me and claimed it wasn't their problem because I used Booking.com. Booking.com confirmed that Hilton Mallorca Galatzo has the option to reverse the double charge, yet they have opted not to. This hotel ownership and management reflect poorly on the Hilton brand. My experience with Hilton Mallorca has been unforgettable; being ripped off by Hilton Mallorca Galatzo is extremely distressing, frustrating, and time-consuming, and is unacceptable. I stayed at the hotel from midnight to 7:30 am, a total of 7 and half hours and have been charged for two full days. If my experience is typical, Hilton Mallorca Galatzo is doing a brilliant job or destroying the global reputation of the Hilton brand and experience; I suggest avoiding this facility.     Excellent service, great food, stunning views, and a comfortable stay – a proper 5★ experience.

    I had a great stay at Hilton Mallorca Galatzo. The service throughout was excellent, and the rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed in particular was great, and the overall standard is exactly what you’d expect from a 5-star resort.The pool area is really nice, and the views from the hotel are genuinely impressive – a real highlight of the stay. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and the buffet dinner was also very good, offering lots of variety each night.The only downside for me was the lack of complimentary drinking water, which felt like something that should be included at this level. The location is about a 20-minute walk downhill to the main town, which is manageable, but getting back up is a bit more of a challenge – taxis are around €10, or you can use the hotel’s shuttle bus which is a helpful option.Overall, a fantastic stay with great facilities, beautiful surroundings, and high-quality service. I’d definitely recommend it.
