Location

These modern apartments are located in one of the most peaceful and privileged areas of Port de Pollença, one of the most famous touristic ports on the Majorcan coast. They fit perfectly with the woodland surroundings and fresh air. Guests can enjoy easy access to public transport. It is just 100 m away from the beach and 45 minutes from Palma de Mallorca Airport by car.

Facility

99 apartments and 20 studios are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service (for a fee). Bicycle storage is also available. Rooms

Rooms feature a living area, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) ensure optimal comfort. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The apartment hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. The hotel offers an extensive outdoor sport and leisure programme, which includes beach volleyball and crazy golf. A wide range of indoor sporting activities are also offered, for example a gym and darts or, for a fee, table tennis, billiards and bowling. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy an entertainment programme (for a fee).

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant with air conditioning, a dining room, a café and a bar. Half board is offered as a catering option. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Dinner options include a buffet and à la carte. The hotel also offers snacks.

    Very nice sports hotel well situated in Port de Pollença . We had a great week swimming and biking. The hotel has a separate 25m trining pool and bike rental with bike storage in the building. Quiet neighborhood but close walk to restaurants, shops and the beach. Booked a room with living room/kitchen with balcony.     This hotel is marketed for athletes and for good reason. It has a 25m pool devoted to lap lanes, a well-equipped (if a bit small) gym and a huge bike garage for the many cyclists who come here. It’s a block away from the shoreside bike lanes. There’s a buffet for breakfast and dinner of uneven quality, but there was always something good. Oddly for a hotel focusing on sports, fitness and serious cycling, the hotel has a playground and children’s pool and attracts young families as a result, too.The apartment room I had was very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, including a kitchenette.     Arrival: Open, clean and modern reception area.Lady at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. The room (apartment): Room 11, found floor.Light, bright and spotlessly clean.Kitchenette with adequate selection, of plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, pans and chopping board.Kitchen sink, bin, microwave, 2 ring hob, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, fridge with small ice box.Dining table with 4 chairs.Sofa (with pull out mattress)... Looks ok, but not comfortable to sit or sleep on for a huge length of time. Same goes for the 2 additional chairs. 2 coffee tables.TV opposite the sofa. This actually blew up and died within 5 minutes!However, full marks to the staff. We reported the issue and they had the broken TV removed and a new one installed in less than an hour.No Bluetooth on TV.No cast facility.Mix of channels (including all the channel 4 stuff for the Brits)... We plugged a firestick in to access all our usual stuff.Cupboard with clothes rail, iron and ironing board.Bedroom. 2 single beds pushed together. Mattresses were spring type and felt old and uncomfortable. Lots of wardrobe space and 2 bedside tables.Extra TV facing the bed.Bathroom. Spacious with walk in shower, sink and toilet. Hand towels, bath towels and bath mat provided.Terrace with table, four chairs and a clothes airer, overlooking the pool area.Good solid WiFi.Would rate the room as excellent if it wasn't for the uncomfortable furniture.Hallway can be noisy... some people are inconsiderate and slam their doors (and noisy kids from other rooms can easily be heard).Outside:Everywhere is well maintained.There main leisure pool (and kids pools) are NOT heated... freezing cold!However, the sports pool (cordoned into lanes) IS heated (and there is a small charge for using this).There are 2 washing machines and 2 dryers.We were ok getting access to them, but expect it to be difficult when hotel is full. Lots of bike storage. Lifts for those on upper floors.Bar and restaurant looks clean and modern. Didn't use the restaurant (food looked average)... We preferred to either eat out, or to prepare something in our own kitchen and eat in the apartment.About 3 minutes walk from beach and small supermarket.About 15 minutes walk to the big eroski supermarket.5 minutes walk from bus stop.Porto Pollenca is mostly nice. Lots of great restaurants. Nice beach and views.Lemon Lounge is great for evening drinks.A few cheap and tacky shops, but not too many.Overall, recommended, but with some scope for improvement.
