    Budget base

    rating30 Sept 2025

I stayed here again in September and again, would recommend if you're on a budget, you don't mind no air con and you want a good central base for your trip. It's not luxury but it does the job. Was very busy so I'm not the only one who thinks this.

    Cheap getaway in September

    rating08 Oct 2024

I had read the bad reviews and was slightly worried but I was expecting the worst. I have to say, you get what you pay for. It's not 4 star, but you're not paying for that. It's one of the cheapest accommodations on the whole island, so I was very happy with what I got. My room was on the third floor, looking out over the street and my view was uninterrupted, with a view of mountains in the distance. Below was the Playa Blanca Bar, which played music each night, was noisy but if you closed your balcony door, you don't hear it. Room was basic but clean with bed made every day, bin changed and fresh towels every day. Breakfast was a choice of hot food (bacon, egg, sausage, beans) and always fresh croissants, bread, fruit etc. It's basic but kept us fed!Pool area is a bit grubby but was lovely and quiet with plenty of space and beds. I was in the pool everyday.I would stay again as completely acceptable for the price you pay.

    Avoid

    rating03 Aug 2019

Avoid this hotel. All the bad rewievs are true. Room was disgusting, no air conditioning. It was like a green house hot, so hot that we had to cool ourswlves in the shower during the day. Dirty, I mean pubic hair around bathroom. Furniture falling appart. Toilet seat wobbly, leaked slowly so we had wet floor all the time. No one changed bedding during our stay. Breakfast oily, I was drying my eggs with napkin to be able to eat them. Pool area doesn't look the same as in the photo. All sunloungers broken. Plastic sunflowers are everywhere, I mean everywhere, hundreds of them. We only used pool once, so dirty. Nice things-Lovely beach 10 min walk away, sandy, sunloungers at a cost.Nice water pressure in the shower.

    Basic but enjoyable

    rating03 Aug 2018

My mum & I booked a 4 day trip here as a last minute girly getaway 31/7/18 - 4/8/18 as the price was the best we could find in the area but when we looked at reviews we were extremely anxious as not many are favourable. Upon arrival we were greeted & checked in by a lovely young man who gave us a complimentary fan for the room due to the recent heat & the room not having AC. We found the room in a basic but immaculate state & so were happy. It was extremely warm but that's not a fault of the hotel but more the recent high temperatures. The pool area was gorgeous and the temperature of the water was bliss. Drinks cheap & food basic but enjoyable. We very much enjoyed our 4 day stay & had nothing but great friendly service from arrival to departure. The area itself is stunning & I would advise anyone who is put off by the unfair reviews to re-consider as most are from snobby people who book 2* and expect 5*. For what you pay it's well worth the money and id actually go as far as to say I'd happily return.

    Buyer beware

    rating30 Aug 2014

This hotel has now closed and is used by the Hotel Playa Blanca as an annexe to house overflow clients. They tried to put me in here but the room was in such a bad state of repair I refused to stay. There are no facilities at this place - bedrooms only which are dirty, smelly and totally unsafe with loose balcony railings and broken locks. The whole place smells dreadfully. Beware if you book Plsya Blanca you could be put in here or another one of the annexes this hotel uses which is also virtually derelict.
