Location

Housed in a former stately home that lies amidst aromatic pine trees just 15 m from the cliffs, this finca lies within a stone's throw of the sea and offers guests a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere amidst wonderful natural surrounds. The hotel offers direct access to the sea via a small, cliffed bay, which may be reached by descending a flight of winding steps, which have been carved into the cliffs. Canyamel, where guests will discover a selection of small shops, cafés and restaurants is just 500 m from the hotel and may be reached by following a path that runs beside the sea. Links to the public transport network can easily be reached on foot lying just 800 m away and the nearest sandy beach is approximately 200 m away. Transfer to Palma airport, which lies 70 km away, takes approximately 1 hour.

Facility

7 suites and 11 double rooms are available to guests in a 2-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service. Bicycle storage is also available. Complimentary newspapers are available. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer and a telephone are available for daily use. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has non-smoking rooms.

An entertainment programme and live music round out the entertainment options.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Half board is offered as a catering option. In addition to breakfast, the hotel also offers lunch and dinner à la carte. Special culinary options, such as diet meals, are also available.     The most beautiful restful retreat ever. Delicious food, comfortable rooms and conscientious staff. Surpasses all expectations from check in to check out. An added bonus to be able to use the facilities at their sister property, Pleta Del Mar, right across the street. Both are exceptional at every turn.

    Spectacular Setting, Great Food and Service

    We recently spent a night here. The setting and grounds are beautiful and so are the views from the property. Our room was very nice with our own private outdoor seating area over looking the water away from our hotel room. The service from the staff was outstanding. We had dinner in the restaurant and my wife said it was one of her favourite meals of all time. Highly recommended.

    Thanks to the wonders of technology finding an excellent place to stay is usually quite straight forward these days. Finding somewhere extraordinary is more challenging. The criteria for giving a property such an accolade will of course vary between individuals. So I hope readers of this review will indulge me!For us, Can Simoneta’s excellence is primarily justified because of its stunning location by the sea and its tranquillity. In our view room selection is critical because it’s the kind of place where most people will be happy just to watch the world go by. We went for a sea facing room in the boat house located around 100 metres from the main building - a pleasant walk though maybe a bit far if u have mobility problems (a buggy is available). Going to sleep and waking up listening to the sound of the sea will be a memory we will treasure for a long time. In our view it’s staff that can make a hotel stand out. Here everyone from the manager to the bellboy was charming and spoke excellent English. We also found the guests (it’s adults only) very affable. Food and wine are excellent in all areas. We especially enjoyed the excellent Majorcan wines well chosen by a knowledgeable sommelier. A glass or 2 of cava gets the evening off to a great start.To burn off the calories there are 2 decent sized infinity pools both with stunning views. If you fancy stretching ur legs there are interesting caves and the Canyamel tower within walking distance (1-2 km). but care needed as some sections of the road don’t have pavements. If u don’t have a car Taxi Cab Mallorca provided us with excellent service (see my separate review).All in all a delightful oasis of tranquillity - we hope to return soon!

    I simply cannot say enough about our experience at Hotel Can Simoneta. Perched on the cliffs overlooking the Balearic Sea, this property is nothing short of breathtaking. The setting is serene and spectacular, offering panoramic views (I called it an infinity lawn) and a sense of peace that is hard to describe but impossible to forget.From the moment we arrived, every detail was flawlessly executed. The food was exceptional. The service was equally outstanding. To help celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, we were graciously upgraded in accommodations, which elevated the entire experience to something truly unforgettable.This is a place to disconnect, to breathe, and to soak in the beauty of Mallorca. The atmosphere is luxurious yet relaxed, with an effortless elegance that defines what a five-star escape should feel like. We left feeling deeply refreshed and incredibly grateful.None of this would have been possible without the help of Henrik at Rural Hotels Mallorca. His guidance and expertise were invaluable.
