Location

Lying amidst beautiful gardens, this hotel is located about 20 minutes from the centre of Palma, where there are many shopping and entertainment venues to be found. The nearest beach lies next to the hotel grounds and links to the public transport network and bars are situated very close by. A nightclub, restaurants and countless shopping venues lie within 2 km. The airport is just 17 minutes away.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. 2 lifts and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.     Lovely hotel but one let down.

    The hotel is overall lovely. The reception, rooms, and breakfast is perfect. Sunbeds on the balcony would be a good idea. However, for me the lack of sunbeds around the pool let the hotel down massively. People will reserve sunbeds by putting down items without sitting on them for most of the day. On our first day we were told there was no sunbeds and we could pay €160 for a double Bali bed! For the price you pay you would expect there to be enough beds for everyone. On our last day we were told there was no umbrella for us in 30 degree heat. Such a shame and a factor that would determine if we stay here again.     Definitely NOT among the best hotels in the World

    Best hotels in the World this certainly is not. Far from it. The service was not up to the mark. It’s either understaffed or those they have are poorly trained. The level of attentiveness and attention to detail was missing throughout.We stayed in a Master Suite which was a fantastic room but when I pay for a premium room I do expect a few extras and treats. Nothing here. The Level has been taken out which is a great Meliá feature. We were told it had been integrated into the room. It was nowhere to be seen.Sorry but the hotel is trading on a historic reputation and is nowhere near the standard I’d expect from a property that claims to be among the best in the World. Experience was more like a 4 star.     I stayed at the hotel overnight before heading into Palma to meet friends. Upon check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which was a lovely touch.The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel’s location is ideal if you’re looking for a relaxing stay by the sea while still being within easy reach of Palma.Breakfast was a highlight particularly the à la carte options, which were high quality and very enjoyable. The buffet selection was a bit more average in comparison, especially considering the overall standard of the hotel.The swimming pool area was clean and well-maintained, and the surrounding public areas of the hotel were also kept to a high standard. The location is convenient, with Palma about a 15-minute taxi ride away and Puerto Portals around 10 minutes by taxi.Although I didn’t have lunch or dinner at the hotel, the menu looked appealing. Overall, the staff were consistently helpful, and I had a very pleasant stay.     incredible hotel, beautiful views, amazing facilities, breakfasts to die for and service off the charts. Including taking our dirty beach towels from the car and giving us fresh ones every day, to lending us umbrellas for the unexpected rain. All the staff were charming, went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.
