    A wonderful 3 night break away

    The staff were the nicest, friendliest and loveliest hotel staff we have ever known. The hotel was spotless and it was such good value for money! A very cheap 3 night break with my mum, sister in law and my two nieces. It rained one afternoon and we used the spa facilities. They were nice and were free and included in the cost of our stay. The location was great and was only a few minutes walk from the beach.The hotel is at the end of the lively part which was perfect as it can get very busy and was bustling in the strip. So we were away from it but if you wanted it then it was only five minutes walk.The beach was beautiful and as you walk into the sea, the sand was so soft under your feet. We also got the bus into Palma. 2 euros each but we wanted to experience the bus. It was okay but we got the taxi back as it’s obviously quicker. Thank you to all the staff for making it so perfect. They were so naturally friendly and relaxed. From changing pool towels to serving in the restaurant. They were all lovely!

    4 night stay at the Principe

    Stayed at the Principe April 2025.Hotel was 15 mins from the airport and with a 4 night stay this was ideal rather than a long transfer. A2 bus from Airport costing 5 euros. Hotel itself was in the heart of the German area of La Palma so the bars/restaurants reflect this, which wasn't a problem to us. The Hotel itself was immaculately clean, friendly staff always helpful. The room was adequate for a short stay with a sea view. My only negative about the room was a sliding door on the bathroom which did nothing for privacy, which didn't lock, so any noise could be heard in the room (if you know where I'm going with that).We only had breakfast there and the food and choice was fantastic suiting ALL nations who were staying there. Food around the hotel was reasonably priced as was the Alcohol being served. Definately recommend this Hotel. If we were to go back to the island we would probably stay further up the coast to the next town for a change.

    Second stay at this hotel mainly due to its proximity to the airport but also because of the previous stay being so pleasant. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very attentive, the hotel is smart and clean, it is a great base to walk along the front to Palma ( if you like a good walk!) or you can easily catch the bus into Palma from nearby. (Although they do get very busy) Would recommend this hotel for a short break to do some sightseeing in Palma

    The beds in the Hotel Principe are really comfortable and the room temperature is easily adjusted to your desired setting. The bathrooms are extremely modern and clean. Towels and extra bedding are in plentiful supply. I found the meals to be fresh and tasty, with a special cooked breakfast and delicious coffee every morning. The staff really go out of their way to make everything easy for guests (Thanks everyone...Jose, John-Anthony, John and all the rest of the wonderful staff!) The rooms are serviced every day, and towels and dressing gowns are supplied for the spa, which I must say is delightful. My mother and I were very well looked after. One thing we loved is that the hotel is very peaceful as it is set back just one block from the sea and you don't get any noise at night. I definitely intend to come back to this beachside hotel with its beautiful jacuzzi balcony and seaview.
