Location

Housed in a former farmhouse from 15th century, this luxury hotel is located in a wonderful valley of the Tramuntana mountain range, on a site of approximately 75 ha beneath Alaró castle. The fabulous surrounding countryside invites guests to take a walk, go on a cycle ride, or a longer hike in Mallorca's mountainous region. The towns of Alaró and Orient lie 4 km and 5 km from the hotel respectively.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1600. The hotel has a lift and features 27 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     From start to finish the worst hotel experience I have ever had.Unfriendly staff, hard bed, hard pillows, no additional pillows Loud bar at evenings past midnight meant we could not sleep and had to ask several times to staff to help manage Only one iron available for the whole hotelNo air conditioning in the room In general just a really poor service and would not recommend this hotel to anyone €400 per night is so over priced and would not stay again

    This hotel and location are just perfect. We booked 2 nights halfboard and the food was incredible. It has been the most heavenly stay we’ve ever had. The only thing I can think of to add is I would have liked coffee making facilities in the room.

    We went with our 12 and 13 year olds to be away from the hustle and bustle of the beach hotels and we found a true hidden gem in Mallorca. The Hotel is nestled in the mountains but still very easy to access from the highway. We did some day trips to Palma and to the beaches in the north but also stayed at the hotel for a day at the pool. A very big thank you to the wait staff as they were very accommodating with our kids and the food was so good! The pool and the garden is very well taken care of and added to the overall experience (also the cat which seemed to be the master of the garden). Being an old manor the rooms might be a bit dated but on the other side they were very spacious. The old paintings on the wall added to the feel of almost being in a museum :). I would definitely recommend this hotel to people that like good food and tranquillity but also want to be able to get to places.

    An amazing hotel in a beautiful location. The hotel itself is incredible, with beautiful grounds and lots of links to its history. Very quiet and peaceful but close to the local town of Alaró. We would recommend a hiring a car so you can see everything this area has to offer!

    Pure relaxation in stunning setting

    Exactly the experience we were looking for - relaxation in gorgeous settings.The hotel is in a secluded location so you feel like you can truly escape. The building itself reminded us of the house in Call Me By Your Name - beautiful. The interiors too were spectacular, with the bar being decorated with paintings and photographs as well as a variety of antiques.The staff are incredibly friendly and speak a range of languages (they were kind enough to speak Spanish with my partner who is practising). The restaurant had delicious food at reasonable rates and the staff were attentive, respectful and polite. And what a view from the restaurant terrace! The room itself was airy, large, with a huge shower and a massive bath, and double sink. Bed comfortable and TV had access to Netflix. The highlight for us was relaxing by the pool. The hotel has a variety of sun loungers, pool beds, and pods and overlooked by the stunning mountain. Would highly recommend.
