This beach lies along the popular stretch of coastline from Cala Millor to Cala Bona, close to the town centre (500 m) and approximately 30 m from the sandy beach. Shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs as well as links to the transport network can be found in the vicinity.

Facility

72 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Children can enjoy the playground. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (no extra charge).     Amazing holiday . Lovely hotel . Was a bit concerned how noisy it was when we arrived at 11.30 pm as there was entertainment/ music from the bar .but it soon went off .hotel staff are lovely helpful and really friendly.rooms even though they are basic they were enough for us ( maybe a bit more storage but we managed) cleaning staff do a marvellous job .bar staff are great .breakfast is basic but good and plenty of it Hotel is in a fabulous location.

    We didn’t stay at the hotel just called at the bar to watch ABBA ANGELS the staff were so friendly and nice drinks were good too

    I booked a 5 night solo holiday here. 2 star hotel. Dont believe any of the hype about being a 2 star hotel, deserve to be higher. The bed was comfortable, memory foam. The holel exceptionally clean and the staff. Very friendly. Entertainment every night. The only downside was the food, cooler than i like it and the sausage needs cooking longer to give it the traditional crispy texture, but thats MY preference. And as that was my only gripe..... they did well. I felt welcomed and a valued customer. Thankyou

    A very welcome return! (October 2025) Returning to Hotel Sur for the first time as a solo traveller felt less like checking into a hotel and more like coming home. From the moment I arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine. Some of the staff were familiar faces from previous visits, others were new, but every single one of them was friendly, attentive, and a credit to the hotel.The whole place is kept exceptionally clean, and the atmosphere is relaxed, safe, and comfortable — exactly what you want when travelling alone. Despite being a modestly rated hotel, it delivers far more than you’d expect: great staff, a homely feel, and a sense of community that makes you feel part of something rather than just passing through.I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Hotel Sur remains one of those rare places that gets the simple things absolutely right.

    I have just returned from the Hotel Sur, having visited as a single traveller. I had emailed the hotel before arrival to ask for a certain room and was duly obliged. I was expecting a single bed but I was pleasantly surprised to find a queen-sized one. Lovely jubbly. Family-run accommodation and as clean as a whistle. I cannot comment on the food as I was room only. I have knocked off a star, however, as the water was at times cold and reduced to a dribble. Also, bedding was not changed during the week I was there. An oversight, maybe? All in all, however, a pleasant stay. While there I took the number 424 bus to the Caves of Drach, having booked a ticket online for 18 euros 50 cents. I mention that as Jet2 wanted £53 for the selfsame trip. The same bus takes you to Cala Millor and Sa Coma. In the opposite direction it will take you to Cala Ratjada.
