Beautiful hotel in a relaxing location!

    rating19 Aug 2025

We had a very good stay at this hotel! The grounds are really cute and charming, and the location in a pretty little mountain village makes it feel peaceful and special. It took us about 35 minutes to drive there from the airport and the roads were quite straightforward, which made getting there easy. There is free parking just outside the hotel, though it’s worth noting there are quite a few stairs to go up, so it may not be ideal for someone with limited mobility. We arrived late at night, very tired, and were so grateful that a member of staff helped carry my suitcase – a small detail, but it really made a difference. The room was modern and spacious, and breakfast was very nice with plenty of sweet options, which I personally appreciated. Dinner at the hotel was excellent as well – very good quality, especially the seafood dishes. The pool area is lovely and charming, though we did notice that by late morning/early afternoon it could have used a bit more frequent cleaning, as there were some dead bugs floating in it.What stood out most for us was how peaceful and relaxing the surroundings are – such a quiet escape. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful mountain setting.

    Comfortable stay at Hotel Turixant

    rating17 Aug 2025

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Turixant for one week in June of 2025. Overall, we thought the hotel was charming and served its purpose as we were out and about exploring Mallorca by car most days. The room was comfortable, but a bit dated and did not reflect the style of rooms we saw pictured on their website/Instagram. The bathroom was quite small. The air conditioning worked well and having a window that fully opened was nice, especially in the mornings when we could hear the birds chirping. Our room was spacious and having a clothing rack was helpful. It would have been nice if there was a mini fridge in the room, or bottled water provided. Note: the hotel is not accessible and there are lots of stairs outside and inside. We dined at the hotel restaurant a couple of times for dinner during our stay and the food was wonderful each time. We loved sitting on the terrace overlooking the town, with the sound of church bells. I definitely recommend eating dinner here at least once. The pool was nice to have, however it could have been cleaned more frequently. There were leaves and bugs. It also would have been nice to be able to order a drink while laying by the pool. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel almost everyday of our trip and thought it was great. Fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, pastries, yogurt and granola. We also ordered eggs and cappuccinos most mornings. Again, dining on the terrace was wonderful. Bring right in town was nice, as we could easily go for a morning walk or head into town in the evenings. It is a very quiet town with only a couple of casual bars/restaurants. Other than the nights we ate at the hotel, we drove to nearby towns for dinner. We would have like somewhere a bit livelier, however, it was the week of the Fest of Sant Joan and we were lucky enough to see many local events, festivals, performances etc during our stay. This was truly memorable. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a centrally located hotel away from the tourist-packed towns on the coast. Being in the countryside gave us a unique perspective of Mallorca. We loved that we were close to wineries, other small towns and only a short trip away from larger towns and beaches. It is comfortable but not luxury. Staff were very friendly and helpful each day.

    Misleading presentation - Avoid Prepayment!!!

    rating07 Jul 2025

This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had — or rather, one I couldn’t even endure. The presentation on Booking.com is completely misleading. The photos focus on a few decorative elements like a nice bathtub or rustic details, but hide the reality:The room was dirty, smelled of damp and chemicals, and lacked basic cleanlinessFurniture was old and damaged, and the space was poorly maintainedThere was no proper ventilation or fresh air, and overall, the room felt neglected and unhygienicWe immediately complained upon arrival. The receptionist acknowledged our concerns and agreed we could cancel the stay, promising that the refund would be managed via Booking.com (which processed the payment). However, despite multiple follow-ups, no refund was issued for all 4 nights, and both the hotel and Booking.com refused responsibility. To clarify: this hotel is suitable only for very undemanding guests who are looking for a very rural, bare-minimum stay with little to no comfort, service, or modern standards. That’s not what was advertised. The online listing is selectively curated to mislead more typical travelers. As a frequent traveler and long-time Genius Level 3 Booking.com customer, I expected at least basic hygiene and honesty. Instead, I was left with no accommodation, no refund, and zero support.I’ve filed a formal complaint, including supporting documents, and will be pursuing this matter through legal and consumer protection channels.Avoid this place unless you are ready to compromise on all comfort and cleanliness expectations and avoid prepayment in any case.

    Charming Hotel

    rating10 Apr 2025

This is the second time I have stayed here . I was part of a n organised cycling group. . Family run hotel. Lovely hotel with a swimming pool . Rooms very chic and beds very comfortable . Continental breakfast . 3 coarse dinner Food was absolutely delicious . All cooked fresh . Just a warm friendly atmosphere a relaxed chilled week although doing lots of cycling . There are some really nice walks and several bars /restaurants in the village very quiet most of the time but when there is a feast day it's absolutely fantastic in the village with live music. I am returning next year with the cyclists and coming earlier to explore more of the area on foot . Nofre and his mum and sister . Thank you for helping to make this a good week

    Hidden Gem

    rating04 Apr 2024

I stayed here with the cycling training camp Girls get strong cycling . The hotel is perfect as a base to go cycling from .You are made to feel very welcome . The hotel is set slightly above the village ,having tremendous views of the surrounding countryside . It's also a really good base to start from if you don't want to stay in the hustle and bustle of the main resorts . The food is fabulous .We even had an option of a chicken curry one night . Really delicious . The beds are very comfortable especially if you have had a hard day cycling . It's a very good place if you want to also have a quiet relax .chill out and a sit buy the pool There is a lovely walk/cycle up to the monastery with fabulous views from the top.
