Location

This charming hotel is situated in a wonderful location, with a crystal clear bay and fine sand beach only a stone's throw away and it is right in the tourist centre level with the thermal baths, Balneario 8. There is an array of shops, pubs, bars and nightclubs as well as restaurants, and public transport networks in the immediate vicinity. The nearest golf course lies about 8 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 54 rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket.     Houm Nets is the ideal setting in Playa de Palma for hospitality, location, great value and facilities.

    This was my first trip to Mallorca and I admit that I did choose Houm Nets on price, but, despite being rated as a 2 star hotel, what that fails to take account of is that as a guest you have full access to all the facilities of the linked 4 star Hotel Son Rigo which also has the combined reception. To reach Hotel Nets is about a 40 yard walk within the Son Rigo grounds.Houm Nets was a great find with its adults only policy and great pool. The hotel, and the room, was clean & well maintained with a decent balcony and free Wi-Fi and TV in the room. The necessary air conditioning was extremely effective and very easy to use.The staff are a credit to the hotel(s) and could not have been more helpful with 24 hour access a bonus. The hotel is located one street inland of the far more expensive seafront alternatives so basically 30 yards further from the beach.There are a host of cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets to choose from and a great municipal bus service all over Mallorca ( 2 euro) all within a minute's walk. The airport bus is 5 euros and is pretty much door to door. As a base in Mallorca Houm Nets is hard to beat.I have rebooked for October which probably says it all.     The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Like previously stated, if you are 20 and German and want to party 24/7 and not sleep, this is the place for you. I am in my late 20s and got to sleep maybe 2 hours in three nights. Security did nothing about the noise and refused to help us with anything. Thank goodness for hotels.com as they credited us a nights stay back as we tweeted to them begging for help. The front desk kept trying to convince us that the security will deal with noise, which was a lie. We were woken up at 4:30 am for a big domestic issue that took 2 hours to resolve. So upset that this ruined our time in Mallorca.

    I was there with 2 my friends. Room was clean. Price and conditions we got was veey good. It was a lot german people partying but we didnt care. It is not the place for families. Its a place to party with your friends. All in all, staff didnt speak englisg very good, but they understood us what we wanted! Beach and all the shops are 2mins walk.

    We booked a room with balcony,but did not get one. A very small room that did not smell nice. We tried to change room, but all was occupied.When looking in to other rooms, they seemes nicer then ours.Very noisy hotell. Filled with just young german youth, playing loud music and yelling loud every night from 4-6 o'clock.I recomend this hotell to youngsters that wants to party.Near the beach and partyplaces.
