  The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained, and the receptionist was so nice and welcoming — a lovely start to our stay. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The selection was very limited, and even the simplest food like chips were very dry and bland. Another issue was in the restaurant — the lamps were hanging far too low, and we noticed several people, including ourselves, bumping their heads on them. It’s a shame, because the hotel and staff are wonderful, but the food and restaurant setup really need some attention.

  Not great, but ok for the price!

  It was ok for the price!It’s in a fairly unattractive part of town, but an easy 10 min walk from the seafront. Buses to Palma and the airport stop right outside.The bedroom had been recently refurbished in a contemporary style. Shower cubicle poorly designed, with water flooding onto the bathroom floor. Separate toilet cubicle, with flimsy partially transparent door, so don’t expect any privacy! Nowhere to hang towels. Water leak from ceiling and down the wall (very noticeable, so I don’t know why the room hadn’t been put out of service). Bedside USB port didn’t work. Awful outlook from the balcony, across a service yard with views into the adjacent properties.Ground floor public areas, and pool area, fairly basic but ok.The rooftop plunge pool was tiny, but the views from the roof terrace were great!Regretted the decision to book a dinner-inclusive rate, as the dinner buffet was fairly basic, and the restaurant ambience is pretty poor - in the basement, with no windows and not very attractively furnished.Breakfast buffet was nothing special, but ok (good choice of breads).

  Amazing hotel and staff

  Amazing hotel, all the staff are super helpful and professional. The food choice is pretty big which is amazing, something for everyone. The rooftop is my favourite part with a small bar and a pool at the top. Takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach. Overall amazing. Special thanks to Maria that served me at the rooftop bar.   Very Poor hotel experience,

  I visited this Hotel with my daughter for a short break of 4 nights which we were really looking forward too. After reading the reviews we chose HSM Son Very as trip advisor score was 4.5.WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE !!Our room view was a brick wall. The sliding door to our balcony was broke and when locked could still open. We went to reception to ask if we could change rooms. The staff were VERY rude and said no and that the hotel was full and was told we should of paid for a sea view.The safety deposit cost was 18 euros for 4 nights with 3 euros returned at the end of the stay. Our deposit box worked for two days and then would not open ( it had our cash in) When we reported this to a lady on reception she was also Very rude and unhelpful and said she would get maintenance to sort it. There was no communication when this was done , and they took the key so we only had access to it for two days and no money was refunded or the deposit returned.The room was basic , no kettle and we were only given hand towels to use which were tiny. A lovely cleaner on our second day gave a bigger towel but after this only beds were made and room floor was not cleaned.The electric kept tripping in the room.The balcony light came on automatically and could not be switched off, this was on all night and was very bright shinning into our room as curtains would not fully close.Pools were freezing and dirty. I have never stayed in such an awful hotel and really cannot believe the 4.5 rating on trip advisor. The staff are extremely rude on the reception and very unhelpful. I have never given a bad review before but felt the issues warranted this.I00 per cent we would not recommend this hotel On a positiveThe area was busy with lots of bars and restaurants with friendly staff within a short walk down a hill and had a beautiful sandy beach.

  Clean low budget, minimal boutique decor.If that is what you aim for, this place is the best. Great service, clean quiet rooms with brilliant air con and facilities.My room was with a terrible wiew toward back yard. I’m sure I would have extatic with a room that was towards the ocean. 😢The food is nice, basic buffet, not gourmet.Canned ham, sliced cheese etc. but nothing unexpected or not nice. Great coffee and juice.The pool area is very small but also nice and clean. Top roof terrasse is overrated in the pictures. it should have sun beds, then you could make great business on drinks all day, unfortunately it is only chairs. About the area. I have to be honest.. the “beautiful beach” experience is TOTALLY unbearable due to salespeople screaming and harassing you all the time. Nice little grocery store below the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for short stay and business. Thanks for having me.
