Location

This apartment and beach hotel is located beside the sea at the heart of the tourist centre of Cala d'Or. Situated on the main road of the Calo des Corral, public transport links and the bathing cove are located just 100 m away. Restaurants, bars and numerous shops are to be found some 300 m from the hotel. The town centre is just 800 m and during the summer may be reached by taking the miniature railway (for an additional fee). Various nightclubs are located 1 km away.

Facility

245 apartments are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and 7 auxiliary buildings. Multilingual staff at the reception desk are on hand round the clock to assist guests with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the apartment hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station and oven. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The freshwater pool complex includes indoor and outdoor pools, which are in part heated, as well as a children's swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of activities are available at the hotel, for example bocce, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball and horse riding or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking, tennis, crazy golf and golf. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling and diving. The apartment hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, darts, yoga and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, massage treatments and a solarium. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco and live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.

    NO IDEA HIW TO DEAL WITH GLUTEN FREE

    Decided to treat my family to a week at this hotel as we have been several other times Hotel great room sea view fantastic BUT off us are Coeliac the hotel were informed 2 weeks before arrival but on arrival they denied any knowledge but we had a copy of email acknowledging our warning.     Reasonable hotel in excellent location - honest review

    Honest review to be helpful - great location, 15 mins walk to centre but lots of good shops and restaurants nearby and choice of 2 lovely beaches very close - helpful staff - nice reception - BUT jet2 rating this as a 4 star hotel isn’t really accurate - the official rating (not jet2) is 3 star and that’s right - we have stayed at lots of Spanish hotels and this is a 3 star in terms of room quality etc - the room we had was a 1 bed apartment and does need modernising - also there was a bit of a musty, smokey smell in our room and others in other rooms said the same - but overall we had a nice week away and would return if we got a good deal price again (we got a free child place so can’t complaint about overall cost) but if you do want a modern room you should prob pay a bit more and stay at their neighbouring esmerelda park next door as that’s an official 4 star and does have a more modern feel Social Media Manager, Atención al cliente/recepción at Inturotel Cala Azul, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your honest and detailed review.     Beautiful location

    Nice hotel in perfect location. Room clean (balcony floor not), modern and spacious, we had a superior suite with road view which was a bit noisy at times. The balcony was a good size and great shower. Beds could of been comfier. We would love to go again but unfortunately there were too many children, so not as peaceful as we would of liked. The indoor pool was lovely, in neighbouring hotel which we thought would be relaxing and quieter. However children were allowed with inflatables which ruined that experience, so there was no escape. Take your own dish cloth. Liquid, scourer and T towel is provided. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would recommend if you don't mind noisy kids.     The complex was large, clean but apartment was a little dated.Drinks, food and the hire of room safe and beach towels were expensive.     Very good hotel, clean & pleasant, although check in was like a lecture, one of the things was No smoking on the balcony, yet every balcony had an ashtray on the table, so why put them on there if it is No smoking !!!! , Other than that, nice quiet area , good bus & ting ting train stops right outside aswell as a supermarket, nice size room & balcony, we had a side sea view room, overall a lovely stay, except for the check in lecture after many hours of travelling.
