Location

This attractive beach hotel is surrounded by pine trees on a side street, within 100 m of the nearest beautiful beach. Links to the public transport network are to be found within 150 m, while the centre is 300 m from the hotel, offering numerous shopping and entertainment venues. It is 4 km to the airport.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 19 single rooms and 225 double rooms located in a 6-storey main building and a 4-storey auxiliary building. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features in the rooms.     Happy but improvements could be made

    Myself and my partner booked this hotel based on the reviews and the photos. We can not fault the bar staff or the house keeping staff! Bar staff made a cocktail that wasn’t on the menu for me and were so kind all the time! Fresh towels in the bedroom every day. Our down sides were, one of the mornings I was unwell we got our sun beds that morning we chilled out for a little while but the sun beds were in the shade so we said we would go to the pharmacy to get some medication and would return! We sat in the shaded area by the bar to have some breakfast and water. The lifeguard removed our belongings despite us sitting by the pool. He was rude and wouldn’t listen to my partner when he tried to explain that we were sitting having some breakfast and that we were at the sun beds earlier! I understand the hotel policy for not reserving sun beds but we were sitting in the shaded area. It wasn’t as if we were the room or off site for the duration! Second down fall was another guest who made me feel extremely uncomfortable every time I lay on the sun bed he would stare at me. My partner noticed this and made eye contact with him to make it known that we were aware. He didn’t seem to be bothered as he continued to stare! This was completely unwanted attention! Also plenty of ripped sunbeds at the pool which made it uncomfortable to relax on. The spa was a bit of a disappointment as many of the buttons wouldn’t work to activate jets. This was very frustrating.Reception staff were great and very accommodating, I requested an iron and they brought it straight up to the room! They would order taxis for you which would be outside in 5 minutes! However trying to get a taxi back to the airport was a bit of a tricky situation as the hotel is close to the airport it’s like they don’t want to do the run! Many taxis stopped outside the hotel and when they saw us get our luggage they drove off! We waited 40 minutes until we successfully got one!     Bad management regarding to our problems.

    My family choose this hotel to celebrate my husband's 60birthday.we had been to this hotel three times before and had a lovely time.what a mistake.good things the waiters in the bar and dining room very hard working and pleasant.hotel in a good location.now the bad.the rooms.bathrooms dirty hairs in the shower and full of mould.the water is slimy really bad having a shower.the beds really uncomfortable.bed linen old.the swimming pools really bad black with mould.but the worst thing was the spa.half of the spray did not work also mould everywhere and the big thing freezing cold.first time we have been to a cold spa .on speaking to the manger nothing was done.she really could not care less and was quiet rude.in my opinion the owners should be looking at changing management and head of matanance.its a real shame this hotel use to be fantastic.not any more

    A real gem of a hotel

    2nd visit to JS Palma Stay. We love this hotel. A very warm welcome by Andrea on reception. We stayed in a junior suite room 207, well appointed, very clean, spacious, lovely views of Palma bay. Thanks to Raquel & her dedicated team of house keepers. The food at breakfast & everything meals are excellent. A great variety of choice for all tastes! Reception team, Andrea, Gema, Helena (Teresa) & all, have excellent customer service skills, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. The location of the hotel is ideal for a trip into Palma, 5 minutes to the beach, shops, nature reserve, with a sea view walk towards Palma. 10 minutes taxi from the airport. I agree with all the positive reviews. A real gem of a hotel & all the hard working staff. We will definitely return. Gracious!
