  Our second stay here.

  This is our second stay in these apartments. The apartments are excellent, generally, clean although a little tired, decorative wise. Positioning is excellent for beach, shops, car hire etc. Beds are very comfortable, and pillows are not bad. Shower is excellent, red hot all the time. Wouldn't recommend trying a bath, as the enamel is so rough it cuts your bum!! Down side.... in ten days no bed change and no clean towels. The towels we were given were rotting away, mine ripped almost in half while drying my back, but no replacement was provided. The apartment was cleaned and bins emptied, but lack of clean bedding and towels was not good at all. Would still return, but would insist on change of bedding etc. Bathroom lightbulb fused, replaced ourselves as a new one wasn't forthcoming, despite asking for one!! Small detail, but irritating as bathroom had no window!!

  This place is such good value in the quiet little resort of Canyamel.Our flight was delayed coming in but we were still able to collect the keys to our apartment at 3am which we were very grateful for.The restaurant does delicious food served by smiley staff, the beach is just round the corner, a completely zero hassle car hire place is across the road and we had the pool to ourselves at the times we used it. The apartments on our side of the building had 2 balconies so you could always be sat in the sun which was a bonus along with the generously powerful shower.Exactly what we'd hoped for.

  we stayed at la cabanya on the 19th of september this year and was really satisfied with the size and cleanliness of the room, however other things were not satisfactory as even though we stayed 10 days our bed linen was never changed and also a small pool area which was never swept or cared for the whole time we were there even had to fish debris out of the pool ourselves. also the sunbeds beside the pool were put away about 5 days before we left . Cabanya itself was very dissapointing we new it was a quiet area when we booked which we like but wish we would of known it was best to stay in an all inclusive hotel as the places to eat out were almost non existent and the few there were had a limited menu and on the expensive side, also the sunbeds on the beach were not just expensive but extortionate, nearly 16 euros for two beds, so we wont be travelling back there in the future.

  Very well situated, a few minutes to the shops and 5 minutes to the beach. Apartment well maintained and clean, with a small electric cooker and basic utensils. The 2 bed apartment had 2 balconies, one of which was quite large with chairs and small table. Small swimming pool ideal for kids, with sun loungers and shade from fruit trees. The restaurant serves excellent food. Manager friendly and helpful. Only real downside is the wifi which you can only access within the restaurant or the tables just outside the bar door. This may not be an issue for some but the kids might want to play on tablets or watch videos in the evening and this is not possible from the apartment.

  Another fabulous holiday

  Just got back from another wonderful relaxing holiday here . When we arrived we felt instantly relaxed and at home . Nothing had really changed since last year which pleased us no end . The owner of the hotel and staff were all extremely helpful and always happy to see us . We had a 2 bedroom apartment this Time which was very clean and spacious . We visited many places to eat in canyamel but always found ourselves eating back at the la cabanya restaurant . We love this place and can't rate it highly enough . All staff here are wonderful and do an amazing job they are so Harding working but nothing is to much for them to help . Can't wait to return next year
